I am an honest iPhone user. I like Apple products but I never defend Apple just for the sake of it.

I get around 5 1/2 hours usage time on my iPhone X. On my iPhone 8 Plus I easily get 8 - 9 hours usage.
Quite simply, the iPhone X is nowhere as battery efficient as the 8 plus.

That is from a full charge to below 10%, I believe? Yeah, seriously iphone 8 plus has a good battery backup than iphone 10. A lot of reviews and people reviews say it!

I’ve had iPhone X for about 3 weeks now. This has be best battery life of all phones I’ve had. Be had whole lot of android phones including pixel 2. I’m a heavy user and I get easily 7-7.5 hours of screen time. It lasts from 7 am till 11 am. I never made the whole day in any phones. Even in my Windows phones I’ll make it till 7pm at best. I use iPhone a lot more than I used other devices.

Apple definitely nailed the battery management on this device.

Coming from my 6S 1715 mAH battery the X is night and day difference.

I’m a heavy phone user through the day for different activities.

Had to have my 6S on a battery charger by mid day at work, and if I left work at 100%, my heavy use at home wouldnt last before I go to bed by midnight without having to recharge again.

With my X , Now I can go all day till 9pm if I don’t charge it once.

If I have it charged to 100% when I leave work now, I don’t have to charge again till I go to sleep.

I’m impressed with the battery size and efficiency.

Got myself of Mophie to take advantage of fast wireless charging.

On the wireless Mophie I’m back to 100% in about 2hrs 15 mins. Faster than it took my 6S smaller battery on the wire. Can’t complain myself. :D

I get about 9.5 hours of usage. My 7 Plus on iOS 10 used to get around 10.5 hours.

Battery life is not what Apple said
It averages about 8 hours with Smart Invert turned on and brightness set at about 60%
Keep in mind that any activity where the screen is off increases battery life like listening to music etc

Im noticing a funny trend. I notice that, my battery drains slowly to about 40%, by then i get about ~ 5 hours usage. From the remaining 40 the battery seems to drain faster, and it takes help of low power mode to get another ~ 2.5 hours.
