From what I saw of my husband’s P20 Pro when he was using it daily, it took the most incredible accurate low light photos that could still put the newer XS Max and my Pixel 2 and S9+ to shame. But in regular lighting, things evened out more. And sometimes it’s software was too aggressive on landscape photos and colorized a few rather oddly.
Still, it’s a nice phone all around. He still has it but he’s back to testing his S9+ against his new Max.
According to a forensics detective, Android encryption has made it harder to crack Android phones as compared to iPhones. This is a reversal from the norm.
I'm in Jackson TN right now and on the Facebook marketplace here there is a person selling the P20 Pro for 180, that seems pretty cheap. I would like to try the zoom and see how it does with the Google camera, I have a Pixel 3 XL that I am more than happy with though
