Teenagers and young adults spend way more time on a computer now compared to when you were 17-22. Telling a teen not to waste time using a computer in the year 2010 is ridiculous, it's like telling them to stop using their cell phone. If you haven't noticed people today get on just fine spending time on a computer and doing other things. Using a computer won't waste away your teenage years if you also have other interests.

I think we are saying don't make your focus on getting all the latest gear, try to get out there and learn to talk to women and enjoy high school so you don't have regrets when your a old fart.

I spent more time on a computer when I was younger then most kids today do.

So it is relevant. The point is to get out and focus on other things. Don't spend your college years sitting in front of a computer for 4 years... it is a waste.

It is funny how the social dynamic has flipped on its head in the last 20 years, but it is ultimately to younger people's detriment as they end up with retarded social skills when it comes to having to interact with other people without devices mediating the interaction.

Most of the people that come on this website are interested in getting the latest gear or at least the latest Apple related gear. People who buy things out of necessity or practicality usually don't frequent these types of sites.
