What’s the difference between releasing a buggy early version and releasing a BETA?
A public release that is buggy: app developers can release apps that are optimized for that version, including any new APIs or SDK features that are part of a big numerical versions (iOS 14, 15, 16, etc.). With a beta, they can't update their apps with new SDK features or call APIs and put them in the App Store. They may iteratively fix crashes that pop-up over the course of the beta cycles.

I wish my 10.5 iPad Pro from I think 2017 would get it. Love it on my iPad Pro m1 and on ventura so wish it would be available on this iPad as well.
