I have signal in most places I go pretty much everywhere except my parents' place.
Is it their house specifically, or just their general location.

Yea, it could be their house...unless they just live in a poor coverage area.I have signal in most places I go pretty much everywhere except my parents' place.

My girlfriend's parents house is built like a fortress. I get one bar on edge the minute I step inside there. Their movie room as well as the area separating the first and second floors both have sound-proofing and I get no service in there. The rest of the house is just plain insulated like crazy and I get hit-and-miss service. But the minute I step outside or get near a window, I get 4-5 bars of 3G.
I always had 3G with my iphone 3GS but that didnt mean it always worked.
that was my biggest gripe with AT&T. the coverage seemed good, i always had full bars of 3G, but it wouldn't work half the time. calls would drop and i couldnt get a reliable data connection.
with my droid on verizon if it says i have 3G (or any service at all) it works.
I've had it take days to get a simple voicemail through AT&T. All of the carriers have problems.ROFL 1 hour and a half to receive a text message on Verizon? That is insane!! What type of signal did that Storm have?
I will be staying with AT&T![]()
That's sad to hearI guess living in the city where AT&T's main center is in helps huh?
