iPhone I have just decided to jailbreak my iPhone 6 Plus

Didn't you just start a thread claiming that jailbreaking is illegal and there are no benefits?

That thread was in order provocateur: I wanted to know if I was wrong about the Jailbreak.

I am Italian, I am 19 years old and it is almost impossible for me to write in your language and to understand your replies. Be patient, please!

Next time just ask the simple question 'is jailbreaking legal?' instead of making claims and being an *******.

In my opinion, asking for 'the best guide on the web' is not a bad idea. However, there is not a chance to mess up my iPhone: do not worry! At this moment I am not using Google Translate.

I am waiting for the confirm.

The story I originally read indicated the guy was ex-SFPD, but some of the links now say ex-FBI and they also use the term "retiring". Don't be fooled. He was essentially fired.

EDIT: Man, memory certainly is fuzzy. This story says it was the iPhone 5 prototype…

Thanks for those links. The SF Weekly article was a particularly good read.

My contention is that the Apple security guys at the house were NOT ex-SFPD, nor is there any evidence to suggest that they were later fired. I assumed you might have some inside info - since these tidbits were never revealed by the media at the time (nor have I read anything since) supporting your assertions.
