People said that about the iPhone also and typing works just fine...Im sure it will take some getting used to, but well worth it in the end
That's what I was thinking when I read the post. I HATED the iPhone screen keyboard when I first got it...really thought it was ridiculous compared to my 'hard key' cellphone (Treo) that I had. I also had a Razor that I would put the SIM in when I needed something small for the pocket and I thought the iPhone was a chubby little bastard compared to it.
But after using it for a few weeks and the app store coming online I found out what it could really do. The 'thumb' typing can still trip me up (I have fat thumbs) but it became less of a problem as time went on. Then the apps kicked in and I was amazed at the power. Never looked back and never felt I compromised. Now, everyone in the family but me has a 3g (never felt the need to upgrade from 2g). Just found out my company is switching to Crackberry's on Verizon. Since it's free...I will have to park my beloved iPhone...until we see if the rumor is true about a CDMA version.
FWIW...I got the mini-bluetooth keyboard 2 weeks ago just in case I need to do anything more than 'text-back' length documents. This is about the only thing I am questionable about. Like another poster said, I'm in it for the touchscreen. I have a macbook and some netbooks. None of which I would call 'comfortable' for large documents. That's why I have a desktop.
Still...WHERE'S THE UPS GUY !!????!!
