It's like i gotta be a real fool to buy a 3G device whith 4G is on the horizon.

Along with 4.0 comes 4G.

Love this iPad so much that I am tolerating the
crappy WiFi range.

Hope Apple issues a fix for it soon and that it is
software based.

Using it so much, it's actually impacting the applications I use on the desktop.

Ones that work well with the iPad are getting used a lot. Ones that don't are finding their files migrating to ones that do.

I'm going to buy a second for my wife and son (they like it too.) Just trying to decide if I want a 3G one, or another WiFi one.

no regret. for a college student its perfect for notes, light sketching, and email. I might have to agree with the others though, wifi was an impulse buy for me...

I'm enjoying mine very much as well.

The iWork apps are far less powerful than I was lead to believe by the videos, Apple's website and the demo at the keynote. They are pretty, but really mangle imported files, are missing fonts, destroy tables, strip out presenter notes, etc.

Waiting for version iWork 2.0 for iPad.

Other than those issues, everything else is what I was hoping for.

I got it as an impulse buy and was scared that I'd regret it, and so far I love the device. Since I've gotten it I haven't used my MacBook one time to browse the web or check my email. Whenever I come home from school or work I go on the iPad when I previously would've went on my MacBook. I still use the MacBook for the editing that I need to do, but for everything else the iPad is more compelling. It's been about a week and at this point I know that the iPad is not just a fad, it's here to stay.

I am a little dissapointed in that I thought I could use it a little more for work but it's not as easy as I though...which isn't really the iPad's fault but it doesn't work quite right with Goog Docs spreadsheets.

It ado has some quirks that annoy me, like no photo delete in the Photos app..

Aside from that though, I really do like it for surfing the web and watching movies which is really all I have been using it for.

Earlier tonight I checked the date on a concert in another town, researched hotels, mapped the drive distance from the hotels to the venue in Maps, browsed through hotel reviews on trip advisor, made my reservation, and added the info for the venue and the hotel to Maps bookmarks and Contacts. And got my email confirmation. All without ever thinking of reaching for the laptop, it was like an iPad commercial. I'm even getting the hang of the dang keyboard.

Loving it for business and for pleasure! Showing a photo-folio to clients on this thing is amazing...Let's say it's payed me back double already!

Pleasure wise, I have barely touched my iMac since it's arrival and my iPhone is neglected too. Wish I could afford another one at this time for my daughter/wife.

I originally thought I'd get the 16 gig.....then with all the files I wanted to have in hand on the road I switched to the 32 Gig. I quickly realized that was just not going to be enough so I upgraded to the 64 Gig (No restocking fee). I was having problems with light leakage, I swapped 3 of them for the same problem, same spot until tonight when I gave it one more exchange....the "geniuses" all agreed the leakage was not normal, and they were great to deal with. I finally have an iPad that is perfect (knock wood).

With all that this was purchased to first and foremost replace my Sony Reader. I like that it works as that replacement plus soooooo much more. I love it....Word Processing, reading, internet, photos, video, etc. I am back and forth living between my apartment and my girlfriends, this has worked so well as a great option rather than lugging around the laptop and waiting for it to load up. No regrets here :D

Very happy with the iPad. It has exceeded my expectations. No problems with Wi-FI. No Problems at all.

Yep, totally satisfied so far. I've even begun to look for book purchases and I normally never read anything other than blogs and other online material. iPad has become my goto device at home for browsing and surfing.

Along with 4.0 comes 4G.

4G won't be ubiquitous for a while. Sprint's 4G is currently limited to certain "metropolitan" areas, and comes in at a much higher price point than AT&T's $30 data plan, or any other 3G jailbroken/hotspot option.

Wasn't an impulse for me. I am using the iPad about 50% of the time, with the other split among the iPhone and MBP. iPhone docks in my truck for music and calls. MBP managing my iTunes, documents and pics. iPad for email and the net. Very happy, and am ok with the functions all my apple products play now.

Oh, the iPod is used when I mow the yard in case it gets dropped and shredded. Poor little iPod just became expendable. ;)

Anyone on here who is complaining about the price is absolutely irrational. For what it is capable of, the price of the iPad is unbelievably cheap.

One week on and I am still thoroughly obsessed. It has taken the place of my laptop for everything except data entry and writing.

I use it tons, mostly for entertainment (games, reading, sketching), but also for light work stuff. It's so handy. The iPad and the iMac are the perfect combo for me. (I have an iPhone, too, but if I didn't have a contract, I'd probably trade it in for something cheaper...as long as the replacement could tether.)

It wasn't an impulse buy at all--I sold my Kindle and Macbook to raise money for it.

Completely satisfied.

So far I am loving the iPad. Very satisfied! I love the e-reader functionality, the games are fast to load and great for fighting boredom in transit, goodreader for .99 is a steal I have synced many PDF files as quick research for my work.

Some of the iPad only apps are rather overpriced imo, but its the same as when the iPhone was new. I remember paying 9.99 for a game, now its 2.99, time will make the apps cheaper im sure.

The only thing I wish it had was a unified messenger that can use push technology so I can have it on while doing something else on the iPad.

It's been 2 days for me and I have gone from "well I have 14 days to return this if I don't like it" to "how the hell did I ever get along without this device"

Happier then a pig in crap! ;):D:apple:

WTF, I thought I had a bug on my screen. It took me two minutes to find out I didn't ;).

Back on topic, great device and using it as much as last weekend and will continue. Before the iPad I always had a netbook in my hands and using it non stop. Now I use the iPad. Definitely getting use out of it.

Still a few apps I need that will soon be out and if multitask comes to the iPad in the fall, it'd be like getting a new device for free.

Been a week. My g/f and I have not stopped using it over the course of the week. I even loaded it up with PDF copies of my D&D 4E books on Goodreader and DM'd my game today with it alongside my MacBook running Boot Camp Win 7 for Dungeon Battle Master Screen. I didn't have to carry 5 books for reference when someone had a question, simply pick the book and go to the relevant section. I had no expectations going in and almost wrote it off. After using it the first time and every time subsequently, it has completely become immersed in my life's narrative.

Yea, only in saved photos thug. What about Albums synced from iTunes? I REALLY don't understand why they didn't include this feature.
