Other I pre-ordered the XS but now I'm regretting it....

I went to the store today and played with the Max.
I like it - I'm going to get it since its only an extra $4 p/m on the IUP.

Although the Max is pretty much the same size as an 8 Plus it felt good to hold and no issues with swiping down from the top etc.
I did not notice any extra perceived weight.
I put a case on it to try to out and it still felt good.

I am going to get the gold. I'm not a huge fan of the back of the gold phone but when its in a case (like the black Apple silicone case) the gold stainless still edges looks killer.
I keep my phone in a case so I'll never see the back of it anyway.

So I work 12 hours a day (8 to 8 today) and I missed the delivery for my phone and they took it back I have NEVER had to sign any year and they just left it at the door. I'm so disappointed lol. Sorry guys I just needed to rant haha.

On the bright side at least he didn’t leave it where someone could’ve stole it.

Well, how about this: I ordered my Xs Max and Apple Watch through Verizon. So, today I go to check in the Vz app...as I do everyday...and the iPhone still reads 'delivery expected Oct.3,' but the Watch order has entirely disappeared! Just gone as though I never placed it! I know something similar happened to some people with their phones...glad it was the Watch and not the phone!

I did not have time to deal with this today, I was busy all day...now I'll need to call Vz to see whether they did truly/somehow cancel my Watch order. If they did cancel it, I'm just going to make the purchase at an Apple Store. I don't feel like waiting until who knows when (especially if they lose/cancel the order again!). But I don't want to go and spend the time to buy a Watch and then in 3 weeks receive one via Verizon.

Doesn’t that just mean they will attempt re-delivery Monday and you can pick it up at UPS/FedEx tomorrow? Did you see if your local store had the Max?

So, I currently have the iPhone X and I pre-ordered the XS but now I'm thinking I should've just gotten the XS Max. I am REALLY conflicted now. My XS is expected to be here Friday so I'm thinking I should just return it to the store and order an XS Max. I would like to feel like I got a "new" phone by having the bigger screen but I just don't want to wait, or order new cases/screen protectors. I obviously know this is ultimately MY choice but I just want some opinions. Thanks!

Have you ever had a plus model? While I loved the screen size after a year of use my hand had developed constant cramping problems from stretching to reach. The max is an even bigger stretch. The X really is the perfect size for me which is why I’m sticking with it for another year.

I must have zoned out during last year’s Keynote. I thought the X and subsequently the Xs were the same form factor as the 6 - 8 and the increased screen size was due to the edge to edge display only. Having the Xs now I’m happy getting a tad larger phone (had a 6s) in addition to edge to edge. The increased screen real estate for me is significant (never owned a +model).
