Hey!
The last year I got myself a MacBook Air M1 and I was really impressed with it. After upgrading to macOS 12 I started facing so many issues that I'm almost going insane here.
I am so tired of nothing working. I connect my docking station to my MacBook (even downloaded the drivers) and everything appeared to work.
After the reboot all of my USB devices stopped working. Everything works just fine on my Windows PCs.

Also, everything worked perfectly in Big Sur. I even downloaded DisplayLink manager for macOS 12 specifically.

I am really disappointed in Apple, really. I have never faced such issues before. Even with Lion that people just hated and called it buggy I never had SUCH issues.

Edit: The docking station started working normally today. Probably shutting it down for a longer period of time helped.
Thanks a lot for your help everybody!

I have really had very few issues. I’m finding big Sur and Monterey actually more stable than the mac has been for years.
Weird.

In my personal opinion life is too short to get upset with technology that isn't doing what it's supposed to or what you're expecting. It's simply not worth it.

Big Sur is still fully supported by Apple, and will be for another almost two years. Have you considered downgrading again if your Big Sur experience was so much better?

In my personal opinion many people make living on their computer and seeing how people complain about Windows all the time I thought to show them that Apple isn't perfect either. When I asked for help in this forum all I got was: "This is a well known bug in macOS 12."
Do you have any fixes for that?

Most people that complain about Windows have no idea what they're talking about. Their opinion is based on someone else complaining about Windows and copying what the other person was saying and not on personal first-hand experience.

Let me get this straight, before I continue wasting my and everybody else's time: because you felt that the number of complainypants threads and posts about Windows on this Apple-focused forum was too high you started your own complainypants thread just to show everybody that the grass is in fact not any greener on the other side of the fence?

I'm not the only one with this issue
No, I wanted to see if anyone has any solutions, because in my last thread with a specific title nobody helped me.

Just cause things worked on a previous OS doesn’t mean they’re going to work on the latest software. I wouldn’t recommend upgrading until all your devices are supported.

It's Apple's fault. The website says it supports macOS 12, but it clearly doesn't. I bought some USB Hubs to test out and none of them work. It's Apple's fault.

In fairness I’m not sure you properly explained the problem you’re having

this really doesn’t seem like an apple problem. It seems like you updated before your stuff was ready for Monterey

Apple’s website told you your third party device works on the current version of Monterey you have. If you could maybe explain the exact problem you’re having and the things you are using maybe we can help you.

So, based on your OP, your "so many issues" is really just one issue, correct? All you said was that your docking station wasn't working with macOS 12, right? While I don't use a "docking station", I am using a 10-port USB hub without issue with my Intel iMac running macOS12. Haven't tried any sort of dock or hub with my M1 MBA, though. Perhaps try a different dock to see if it works.

It's one of the main issue.
I'm using an M1 MBA. I tried it again and keyboard started working (USB one), but the displays didnt. I restarted my Mac and then the displays started working, but the keyboard and USB mouse didn't.
I've tried different docking station. Still facing the same issue.
