I am having very few issues, on developer beta program for Monterey, everything is and has been working great.

Seriously, I upgraded to Mac in 2012, and have never looked back. I remember all the booting, the security patches and unpatched flaws, crashes, and that really gross ribbon UI.

It's one of the main issue.
I'm using an M1 MBA. I tried it again and keyboard started working (USB one), but the displays didnt. I restarted my Mac and then the displays started working, but the keyboard and USB mouse didn't.
I've tried different docking station. Still facing the same issue.
How many displays are you using. Is there even enough power to run everything you have plugged into the hub what hub are you using?

Do you have any other Macs running macOS 12 you can test the dock with?

Apple’s website told you your third party device works on the current version of Monterey you have. If you could maybe explain the exact problem you’re having and the things you are using maybe we can help you.
Yes, my USB Hubs nor the docking station are working.
I downloaded and installed DisplayLink Manager ( https://www.synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics/downloads/macos-connectivity-1.3.1 ) and it worked perfectly. Then I restarted the Mac the keyboard stopped working (USB one) and then I uninstalled DisplayLink and installed it again and restarted my MacBook and then the keyboard and all of the USB ports were working (my headphones were charging) and a bit later the external displays turned on, but they keyboard + all other USB devices stopped working.

My GreenCell USB Hubs aren't working at all. They only recognise the external display. The issue started after I upgraded to macOS12.

Now, macOS 12 has this great feature where I can copy + paste text from photos and it makes my life so much easier, but I guess I have to downgrade to Big Sur?

I know the devices aren't faulty, because they work perfectly on my old MBP (Running High Sierra) and all of my Windows laptops.

did you plug your hub into the power USB-a? that is what the instructions say. My hub instructions say it must be plugged in to run USB-a, I can run a display on HDMI and a USBa. I think the hub is weak on design, it gets warm when using it, but works great other than that

I am using 3 displays. All of the 3 external displays work on other computers + USB devices, but the thing is my GreenCell USB Hubs aren't working either on my M1 MacBook Air.

Earth?
Hey!
The last year I got myself a MacBook Air M1 and I was really impressed with it. After upgrading to macOS 12 I started facing so many issues that I'm almost going insane here.
I am so tired of nothing working. I connect my docking station to my MacBook (even downloaded the drivers) and everything appeared to work.
After the reboot all of my USB devices stopped working. Everything works just fine on my Windows PCs.

Also, everything worked perfectly in Big Sur. I even downloaded DisplayLink manager for macOS 12 specifically.

I am really disappointed in Apple, really. I have never faced such issues before. Even with Lion that people just hated and called it buggy I never had SUCH issues.
Have you updated to the latest version of Monterey? If so, did that fix any issues? I have MBP 13” M1 and this is the longest I’ve ever gone with not updating my OS, still on Big Sur and don’t want to risk my HUB not working…

Yes sir,
I am on macOS 12.1 and I was hoping the new update would fix the issue, but it didn't.
I think my only chance is to downgrade back to Big Sur as well… I know macOS 12.2 is coming out soon, but there's a possibility it won't be fixed in the next release either.
There are more people with the same issue, so I'm pretty sure it's on Apple's side. Macs used to be machines that just worked. I'm so disappointed in Apple for real.
My docking station recognises the displays, but not any USB devices. The same goes for GreenCell USB Hubs that I bought for testing. Displays all just work fine, but not the USB devices. Even my headphones stop charging. I didn't have the same problem on Big Sur or High Sierra or Windows 10, so I'm sure the hardware is fine.

I actually find iPhones iOS very unstable, I rarely have any issues with Mac OS. The last windows version I used was vista, I never regret going to mac.

1.Uses an experimental workaround to the recommended display allowance
2.Updates to the latest patch "immediately" after release
3.Something almost predictably goes wrong

If I ever learned something using computers, hedge your current (working) setup as long as you can safely do so, doing otherwise is taking a risk. Sorry that you got burned buddy.

No problems here with my M1 MBA with an OWC Thunderbolt 4 Docking station.

Just a suggestion - perhaps you could post a link to the specific dock in question in case the OP wants to try that one (if he hasn't already). That would be quite curious if it worked with your M1 MBA but not his if both are running the same macOS version.

Greencell is like worst adapter company ever, most of their docks and hubs did not work with m1, they managed to make them work (before that they were burning logicboards) but there's still a plenty issues with them, just google green cell m1 issues . Please go buy something better or downgrade and READ on PRODUCER WEBSITE if its supported on latest patch

I’m not the person you are requesting from, but I use this and have not had any issues.

I thought the Air only supported one external display. Are the three displays consuming all of the hub's resources? Do your USB devices work if you only have one display connected?

I haven't had any issues with iOS and I'm on the latest version (iPhone 12 mini), but then again I don't really use all of the features, so no comment on that as I don't know.
Windows 10 is actually great. I don't know about Windows 11, because I downgraded immediately. I didn't like how it looks like, but I remember I didn't like the design of Windows 10 either back in 2015, I guess I'd have to get used to it.

I bought GreenCell USB Hubs for testing, because they were cheap. The very same GreenCell devices work with Windows though. I do believe those are bad, because they were like $15, but the main issue is my Docking Station.

Looks like you confirmed it’s not Apple’s fault. It’s the third party developers.
No, because the other Docking station didn't work either (the one I tried at the office) nor do the USB Hubs.

Docking station and USB hubs working for you?
Yep have no compatibility issues with any of my gear. But third party drivers for macs (when compared with windows, as you did in the op) are always less supported. It’s always been the case. Coupled with a total change of architecture, I’m not sure it’s entirely apples fault.

Not all peripherals are created equal, sadly. And when you have new silicon coupled with an updated operating system, and you're introducing third party adapters and such into the mix, there are bound to be devices that don't play well together, in Windows or MacOS.

I never upgrade my OS, Mac or Windows, for at least six months after release, because both Apple and Microsoft use us as beta testers for "stable" releases now. So, like others have stated, I would give serious consideration to bouncing back to BS and waiting for the bugs to get exterminated.

I'll try.
Didn't work with two displays either. Now only one is connected and none of my USB devices nor my second display is working, but the MacBook is charging (via docking station).

I'll downgrade back to Big Sur on Saturday and will let you know, because everything worked before.
