When you can't run professional apps like Wireshark(OS X) on an iOS device you know it's not ready for real work.

You'll appreciate your iPad more if you give it to me. Then you'll know what you lost once you no longer have it. I'll PM my address to you.

I can guarantee it won't collect dust at my house.

Thanks.:D

Agree 100%. For example, I can't run my turbulence model on it because of the limited RAM and processor. Until it has 500GB of RAM and at least 500 compute cores it will just be a toy.

@perfseeker and crack pip,

Maybe youdidnt do enough research prior to purchasing an iPad. It was NEVER advertised as a professional "device" but as a media consumption device. Many, many iPad users are quite productive. Which lends to the fact the fact that they knew what they were getting into before they purchased it.

I know; I know. I can be a fool. I've just gotten into this habit of reading things without thinking through what's been written.

Take notes on your iPad. I can type just as fast on a real keyboard as I do with the iPad.

How fast do you type? There's no way most people could hit 80wpm on iPad. Or even 40 I'd guess...who has the typing test iPad link!

*whoosh*

(Hint: where can I buy a "real" PC with 500 cores and 500 gigs of RAM?)
