I text with two hands even when I had an iPhone. When I browsed, one hand was behind the phone and the other was used as the pointer.

I'm preferring bigger screens because the keyboards' font height are generally bigger and much less mistakes. Texting is my main thing esp living in one of texting capitals of the world.

But 4.5-5.2 inch screen is my sweet spot. At least something no bigger than a LG G2.

I have every other piece of device is an Apple besides my phone and I love it.

The Note 3 is one of the best phones I have ever used. It feels great in the hand, is so snappy and fast, and the screen is beautiful!

I do the same and text with two hands. I really like the bigger keyboards b.c the numbers are above the letter keys :)

Got my Note 3 but didn't want to activate until tonight since I'm on a business trip. BB didn't include a sim so the phone is just a brick. Can't get past the activation screen. :(

I own an iPhone 5s and (tomorrow) a Note 3. I'm keeping both. The iPhone is just a perfect multimedia/communications device. The Note 3, as a weekly business traveler, is a perfect productivity and entertainment tool. Maybe it's excessive, but I'm happy with both.

What do you think is a good combination of both for those that cannot afford two phones?

No this stems from Steve Job worshippers that take it to heart that phones need to be operated with one hand. But that's an old ideology. Times of change. Similar to how we really don't need skeuomorphism anymore because people have gotten used to tech in general.

I just think people like to think 'the grass is only greener on MY side' and don't want to have to deal with the fact that they might not be enjoying all of what's out there. I can guarantee you if Apple comes out with a 6'' phone, fanboys will go crazy. Remember the iPad mini fiasco?

Yeah because you NEVER in life need to have your other hand on something else... I operate my phones one handed the vast majority of the time, for whatever reason. I'm NOT defending Apple's penchant for 4" phones at all, but to say only Apple fanboys use their phone one handed is ludicrous. By the way I roll with a LG G2, not an iphone anymore. I do miss one handed use, but the G2 is a nice compromise between a smaller phone and a phablet.

Of course it all depends on the user. I need to use my phone one handed much of the time, for example when driving. But others on here might use their phone in their office where they might be able to enjoy it 2 handed, a note would be a nice option for them.

If you'd spent time with it, using Nova launcher + custom themes and icons give it a completely different style.
Ain't nobody got time for that.
I just want a phone that works out of the box.
And btw, even with nova launcher (wtf is that) and custom themes, at the end of the day you'll still have a huge plastic phone with amoled screen and android apps.
'nough said.;)

Yup, on wifi right now. Just took its sweet time to let me skip activation! The screen is way more responsive than my s3 or the Note 2 I played with. I'm keeping this phone for my weekly travels for sure. Hopefully we can root to stock soon!
