It's server side. I would wait until tomorrow and see if the option appears.

i'm subscribed to the 50 GB option but everywhere else it shows me the old 20 GB. anyone else? :)

I got the update for the free upgrade from 20GB to 50GB! Yes!!! ... but wait, price actually increased here in Canada. Not a lot but still increased.

Damn, I thought it was free :oops:

My 200GB plan was renewed on 9/12 for $3.99. Now I see the new price of $2.99. I wonder if I'll get a refund of the difference? Probably not. :(

I think due to the US dollar being strong, prices of 'foreign' services and hardware went up after the most recent keynote.

Yeah my extra storage hasn't shown up yet either. Says I'm on the 50gb plan, but still shows 20gb in my data allowance. I think I'm going to bump up to the 200gb anyway to finally incorporate my mac photos library.

Not showing up for me yet. Says I have been upgraded to the 50GB plan but says I still only have 20GB total to use.

Within the last hour my storage has been adjusted from a max of 20GB to 50 GB on my iPhone. I did nothing to induce the change. I am away from my other devices so I don't know if they have their capacities upgraded yet.

Um... I've been checking mine to see when it will go from 20 to 50 and suddenly saw a lot of free space. I got excited, thinking it was a bump in capacity. Nope. My iPhone backup has disappeared. Awesome.

At around 11:30 pm, approximately 6 hours after my iCloud storage size was increased, Apple sent me an email confirming the upgrade.

My devices do NOT run the latest operating systems, I did NOT have to reboot, and I did NOT have to logout and back in to iCloud. It just updated on its own.

Now I will start backing up my iPad to iCloud and start using the Photos app. This space upgrade is very much appreciated.

That's funny. Yesterday I turned on iCloud Photo Library on all my devices and I also upgraded from the free iCloud to 50GB plan.

Later last night I noticed that my iPad backup was gone. I figured it had something to do with the iCloud Photo Library, but since you say it happened to you, it must be from upgrading the iCloud account. I wonder if the backup would stay gone or if it would show back up after a day or two?

I get that but once the dollar becomes parity, would they change it back to 0.99 which what I was paying for prior to the "free upgrade" :)

No, the probably wouldn't. Companies want more profit, not less. And Apple knows a lot about profit.

I also received the email from Apple and had my 20 upgraded to 50 within the same day of iOS 9 launch. I first purchased the 20 up from the 5 free on the day they announced the pricing changes at the keynote. I've since enabled both iCloud Drive and iCloud Photo Library and I'm LOVING it so far.
