-Superdrive in ALL the models
-The eject button should be nowhere near the delete key
-Backlit keyboard
-A full-sized DVI Port (Not the mini one)
-Cooler case (It gets quite hot underneath as it "breaths through the bottom")
-An extra USB would be a nice touch

i actually like the mini dvi port on the macbook as it doesn't require you to screw the dvi cable into the computer. you just unplug when you need to run.

How would a white matte exterior feel? Like the blackbook but just white
USB on the right!

Yes, these are my suggestions as well. I think a matte white finish would make the MacBook the best looking notebook.

Regarding the USB on the right, I want this because of my USB mouse, which has to wrap around the back of the laptop to be used on the right side. Actually, I don't understand why ALL the plugs aren't on the right side of the computer rather than the left, and put the Combo/Superdrive onto the left side? Actually, make the Superdrive a standard feature and forget about the Combo Drive completely.

A USB2 and a FW800 on the right.
Matte screen (the glossy screen is excellent, but reflects too much sometimes).
Backlit keyboard.

Otherwise I'm very happy! (See sig for details).

i'm just wondering, would everybody still want a usb port on the right if all mice were wireless? i have a wireless mouse, and i don't see any benefit from having a usb port on the right (other than the mouse issue). but i agree about the expresscard slot, or at least throw in a card reader.

Perhaps, but I know at college if I "borrow" one of the Apple Might Mouse's from one of the iMacs, the lead is pathetically short, and it has to go on the left, while my own mouse (as long as I don't forget it) has quite a long lead so it's not too much of a problem. Just more of a convenience!

It also seems a lot of places that I take my laptop, the leads seem to naturally come from the right, so I'd probably benefit from all, or most, of the ports on the right.

My MagSafe adapter now curls at the MacBook end, thank's to me having to curl it around all the time. If I were to steal an ethernet cable from one of the iMac's so I could connect to the college network, then the lead is so small that I have to put my MacBook on the table facing perpendicular to how it would "normally" be situated, and this is really inconvenient.

I know those two situations are because the leads are too short, but still, I need the ports on the right!;)
