I only own iPads and iPhones. The iPhones are far more important to me though as I love the iOS environment compared to Android or any other I previously used. I use my phone all the time and the iPad is more of a luxury to me. I could certainly do without the iPad but I would be sad without the iPhone because I’d have to switch to a Samsung or something similar.

I've been trying to reduce my device footprint for awhile now. Since I spend most of my day on the computer, it's a MacBook for me definitely if I had to choose just one device. I don't use my iPhone very much. But I find that one device just doesn't do it - like tools in a toolbox, it's easier to read on the iPad, easier to work on the MacBook, and easier to bring along an iPhone when out and about. :p

iPad mini 5 for me

(hopefully iPad mini 7 w/ ProMotion will be my next)

Being an SE1 user, the iPhone is falling down the list for me right now...
(love SE1 - no great "next" iPhone for me though)
same for me, i would use a flip phone if i can keep the cellular ipad, i hve the 12 pro max but use my ipad way more

iPhone without a doubt. I love my Apple watch (and all my other Apple products) but I could do without them fairly easily
I collect watches and if Apple found a way to make a round watch with 3+ days of battery life I would like it a lot more, as it i rarely wear it, but it still wouldnt be my 1 only product.

I love mechanical watches also and it's been a battle to work them into my rotation with the Apple Watch. I've often considered wearing the mechanical on my left wrist and the AW on the right but instead I just wear the mechanical watches on the weekends and if I go out to dinner/special occasions.

I have had iPhones and iPads since the beginning of each product line, and have probably had eight or nine iPods before them. I’m on my third pair of AirPods and finally caved and got an Apple Watch. I couldn’t really imagine losing any of them.

However, I’ve been a Mac user for 30 years. This is definitely the one Apple technology that would leave the biggest hole in my life.

Considering that desktop and laptop now have more or less identical single-core and GUI graphics performance, I voted laptop.

(I have switched to a 14” after many years of iMac 5K as my primary Mac.)

I tried that the first two days. I was convinced I could see the Apple Watch as the Jawbone fitness trackers I used for years before the company caved and the servers went down. It felt silly, and I was self-conscious about it, so the AW won.

My Apple trinity is iPhone - iPad - Mac. No more, no less.

If I had to drop one of those, it would be the iPad (sorry). Although right now it is a fundamenta piece of my workflow. If Apple brought the iOS Screen-recording feature to the Mac, I would be happy with an iPhone-MacBook combo.

If I had to choose only one device, that would be a [bigger] iPhone. I guess I could make do with a Windows laptop (although losing macOS would hurt), but I'm not going back to Android.

I own an iPad, iPhone and a Mac. Love them all but if it had to be only one then the iPhone stays.

iPhone is the device I use the most and would feel out of place the most if I didn’t have it.

Tough call. I use my iPad Pro 12.9 about 90% of the time, but there are certain tasks that only my MacBook is capable of handling so I wouldn't want to be stuck without it.

I too love and collect mechanical and also vintage quartz watches and was truly excited when news of an Apple watch started circulating early in 2015. When finally released in April the same year, seeing and listening to the early testers I could hardly believe that the battery was good for only 18 hrs of mixed usage, or for an additional 72hrs if in low power reserve mode. I initially thought it was a joke, and when assured that these were to spec, needless to say I wasn't interested and remain the same today. If and when Apple produce a Smart watch with an easily replaceable module and battery that will hold up for approx a year, I may be interested - if the design and other specs meet my needs. Obviously I'm not holding my breath as I know it will never happen!
If I could only own one Apple product? Having owned several 27" Imacs in the past it would have to be my current 2020 Model 27" iMac - a marvellous machine!

MacBook Pro, hands down.

edit: I won't like to use Android either, but for me it's preferable than going back to Linux (don't even mention Windows) to do my work, I can't stand anything but MacOS to be my daily driver after nearly 20 years using it.

I feel the same. I’m not giving up MBP and macOS. I love my iPhone and how well it syncs with my workflow, but I’d hold my nose and find Android workaround if it came down to just one Apple device. I have no need for my iPad, and I can do without my Mac if need be, but the MBP is why I came to Apple and the primary reason I stay.

I was so desperate to escape Windows when I bought a Lenovo during The Dark Butterfly Keyboard Years that I hackintoshed the damn thing. Android spies on me left right and centre, but it's usable. Windows isn't.

Oh wow - hard- HARD - disagree about Windows

It's extremely usable and about as good as it's ever been in my view.
Do you REALLY want my essay on how and why it's hardly usable compared to macOS? (I'll open with Adobe CC and scaling.)

I was going to say "about as good as it's ever been" was 100% correct, but I loved Windows NT/2000.
