I have never owned a macOS computer, whether desktop or laptop... So that is what I want to have if only I can afford purchasing it outright... I'm mostly a Windows user and familiarizing myself with Linux, specifically, Linux Mint and LMDE... I have tried macOS through Hackintosh... I have used High Sierra, Mojave, and Catalina for short periods but I really want to be able to use them on an Intel MacBook Pro since they are of lower prices now [pre-owned] since Apple Silicon was introduced...

I only have bought iPhone 7 Plus and iPad 9 Wi-Fi as new devices but I have bought pre-owned devices to familiarize myself with iOS... iPhone 4, iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, iPhone 6s, iPod touch 4, iPod touch 5, iPod touch 6, iPad 1, iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4, all Wi-Fi only...

Do you REALLY want my essay on how and why it's hardly usable compared to macOS? (I'll open with Adobe CC and scaling.)

I was going to say "about as good as it's ever been" was 100% correct, but I loved Windows NT/2000.

I actually agree with you but I still want to see that essay because there's nothing like seeing someone rip Windows and its god awful OS a new one ?

Windows NT/2000 were awesome!

I miss it.

Let's see ....

I've done Hackintosh, and good Hackintosh, like with AirDrop, Hibernate and stuff. I could do that again I guess - if that counts as not using an Apple product.

I don't need an iPad. I hardly use it.

I would really miss my AirPods. But I guess there are adequate alternatives if you can compromise on pairing comfort. Those new Sony earbuds are amazing, btw, even if they look like Alien technology.

I could use an Android phone if I really had to. Not doing much other than reading webpages and using messengers. I wouldn't want to, but I could.

Turns out I don't really need any of that stuff, but I kinda want to keep all of it. :-D But if Hackintosh is allowed I guess I'd keep my SE2020, if not... then my Mac.

Mac desktop.
I also have an iPhone, iPad and AirPods because the integration between my devices is useful.
But as a Logic Pro and GarageBand user, my studio would not exist without a Mac.

... If Apple brought the iOS Screen-recording feature to the Mac, I would be happy with an iPhone-MacBook combo...
Sorry if I'm teaching you what you already know, but you do know QuickTime has a screen record feature don't you?

EDIT oh hang on I think you mean the ability to record the iOS screen from a Mac...sorry.

Technically, Beats is not a Apple branded product, so we all could use for example Powerbeats Pro (has H1 Chip) with our single chosen Apple product. So for me Cellular ipad air or pro, with Powerbeats Pro and use a Galaxy Flip 3, and i would be very happy. Would miss the iphone and mac though.

I own 4 devices, iPhone, iPad, watch and macbook

I would keep the iPhone, since its my daily driver, very good camera etc...
The iPad is mediocre, iPad OS just sucks, the Watch is a gimmic, not more and the macbooks runs Windows only and has been mostly replaced by my XPS.

I think that the iPhone is the single greatest product of this century. Hard to leave it, although I love my Mac I'd rather use a Windows PC than switching iOS for Android
