I'm a Mac user so the iPhone is a natural fit. It's integration with the larger Mac ecosystem is unrivaled. I have an M1 iMac, an Intel-based MacBook Air, an Intel-based Mac mini, an iPad Air 2, and of course an iPhone.

If I were a Windows user I'd use an Android phone as my primary mobile. I have a Pixel 5 as a backup phone and I switch off to it occasionally, just for the change of pace. Also, my parents got Pixels as their first smartphones. I'm always their first call for tech support (and second call, third call...) so I figure I should be familiar with the ways of the Android. Turns out I actually like it. Switching platforms means shifting my email focus from my iCloud account to my Gmail account but that's ok.

In a perfect world I'd be using a BlackBerry running BB7, but that's a tale of woe best left for another day. :)

I'm only using iPhones because of the Mini. If Apple stops making Mini after next year, I'll probably just go back to Android.(which has no viable small phones)

I’m just asking since I realize most iPhone users actually own a MacBook?
It's probably backwards. People get a Mac because they already have an iPhone, rather than get an iPhone because they have a Mac. Though I started out with an iMac in mid 2011, then got my first iPhone (a 4s) later that year.

well.. still using iPhone SE(2016)... in addition to my iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 13 Mini.... so....

So the answer is no. But still you’d stop using not one, but three Apple devices to “return “ to Android while at the same time admitting there are no viable Android options in a size you like?

Colour me confused by your statement.

I don't know where you're getting this information from, but I don't own a MacBook. I don't even own an iPad. My iPhone is the only Apple product that I own. I bought an iPhone because I wanted an iPhone as my cellphone. It had nothing to do with me owning a MacBook or even wanting a MacBook.

I would say most people would own more an iPad than a Mac. I think for computer needs for work a windows machine will always be the more popular use case for most people
