Well the surprise to me is how few $499 WiFi votes are out there. I thought the top and bottom models were the most popular.

I'm sorry so many of you feel robbed of the chance to validate your initial decision-making by voting 'same as before!', but again, that option isn't very helpful for the undecided.

I can really understand the feeling that for not much more money (and $100 to double... and $100 to double again is attractive pricing) you can have the flexibility of having more media. Obviously no one consumes 64GB of media in a day or even a week, but to not have to pick and choose so much and try to anticipate which music playlists you'll want later, or which slideshow of photos you're going show to this or that person you happen to meet in a given day, certainly has some advantage. Peace of mind, less hassle, membership in cool-guy Elite clubs

I forgot to speculate that the 7 remorseful voters are likely trolls. I guess I should have said more clearly that only people who have actually bought an iPad should vote, lest haters show up trying to to swing the vote. I say this because not a single of the 7 voters made any comments, I imagine they're just saying 'I would not and do not want one' which isn't really what the poll is asking.

I bought the 16Gb iPad shortly after it was released. I voted in the poll that I would buy the 16Gb. Obviously, users' needs vary but virtually all of the media,mostly movies I consume is either streamed or downloaded to my iPad from network drives. When I finish watching something I downloaded, I delete it from my iPad. My daughter, though, has a huge collection of iTunes music, so she got, and really needs, the 64Gb model. We agreed that the 3G option would not be very useful to either of us.

The 3G has been worth it and I still have 4GB of my 16GB left with nothing anything I care about adding so I would still get a 16GB 3G like I did.

I would buy the exact same one. 32GB wifi model. Since Apple chose a 3G radio that only works with AT&T's 3G signal, it's a complete waste of money to buy the 3G model.

I have a 32gb 3G that I am using and a 16gb 3G sitting in the sealed box waiting for Apple to call me when they have a 64gb 3G in stock. I am happy with the 32gb one, but unsure about the 16gb one. Do I really really need a 64gb? The 32gb is half full. I just don't want to open the 16gb one and regret it. I like more, but I may not need more.

I bought my 64gig wifi within five minutes of it's introduction. I knew I wanted 3G but simply could not/would not wait for it.

Now I have to say that wifi only has not been an issue for me as wifi seems to be just about everywhere I go. That said, I pine for a 3G and wish in a way that I had held out for the 3G launch!

For those of you buying now I'd say without hesitation go for the 3G. Small price to pay for insurance of access.

Still trying to figure out why apple staged the introduction of the two. For sure I would have bought the 64g 3G the first day if it had been available.

But, would I have been happier waiting? Hell no! And I love my iPad just the same!

Oh and the more disk space the better, I say!.

Why not sell it and get the 3G? That's what I did.
