I admit it I didn't know that, but it's odd that the sim card says 3G on it.
No, this is Sparta!
I am an old At&T wiresless customer before Cingular bought them out (and are now again At&T). Att is telling me that I have to upgrade my plan to get the iphone saying it wont work with it. I can't do that because I have a north america plan that makes Canada local for me (where I am currently living and live between the states and canada). So I have to find a way to keep my plan and get an iPhone. Help?
Just Got Mine And Popped The Sim Card, It Is 3g!!!!
PowerbookMedic.com already has a complete disassembly guide for the iPhone. It is the 1st complete disassembly.

Maybe I'm not finding it, but have you done anything but disassembling and reassembling? I can't find any info on what's in there or any kind of interesting stuff other than.. took it apart and put it back together, which is useless (to me at that is).
I do wonder if that voids the waranty?![]()
Apple's future is brighter than ever before and so is Steve's baby (and ours to)--the Mac!l
I think that Apple is really trying to become the next Sony "style" of company. Computers are not their central focus anymore, as evidenced by their VERY slow updates, lack of new product designs, and software delays.
All of the PowerbookMedic pictures are up...the text instructions will be up shortly. Our servers are being hammered right now, and it is delaying the posting of the text.

There is a sense of urgency in the photo story I just saw on your site. Frantically disassembling and photographing like a world record was at stake!
