any of you us users can't access the fixtures either? I get a message I can't access it anymore. I'm not sue if it's us users or all users.
Such a shame that the fixture list had to be removed and incredibly stupid that something like that is subject to copyright.
honestly, what is the harm of some football fans find out when their team is playing? It's not like we can't get it from their website anyway.
From reading the letter he received it's not the BBC who are threatening him but the company who own the copyright for the league fixtures, Football Data Co Ltd.
Open a UK itunes account with an itunes gift card

You should be able to open a UK account using an itunes gift card, even an expired / used gift card. Worked for me to open a US account and I am in the UK, no reason why it shouldn't work the other way round.

Fixtures removal
I just got a reply from the DEV re the fixtures - there should be an update coming soon that will have the fixtures back in place by way of a BBC mobile page insertion, so at least we won't have leave the app to view the fixtures. Good work Jezza!
