I ran this program and it seemed to work great. After reboot all the tweaks had been deleted. Then I went into Cydia.........all my repos are blank and can't find anything using search now

if you dont have any repos, of course you won't find anything.

cydia doesnt store content.

it seems this tweak has removed all your previously installed repos you must add them again before performing a search.

Kind of Odd question but...

Is there an option for iLEX RAT to basically restore without having cydia installed?

I'm looking to restore to 6.1 (which I'm currently on) and not have cydia installed on my device. I plan on taking it into the apple store to get the power button looked at in the event they are not able to replace the phone. I'm not sure which version of iOS is on the replacement iPhone 5's are on so I was wondering if there is a way to stay on 6.1 without having cydia by using this method? or another?

Thanks.

Not possible and that answer is plastered all over this forum in numerous threads, please use search.

Yeah, kind of stupid on my part. I updated my repos and re-installed what tweaks I use most. Seems to be running much smoother now, although a few of my apps keep crashing on me. Gonna try deleting and re-instaalling them

my i5 is in the Apple logo loop :(

I can connect via iFunbox and browse the filesystem, even use it to install deb files - but for some reason I can't get it to connect ssh. It has passcode lock enabled, but since it never starts up fully - I can't disable it.

Is there a way to run iLEX RAT from a script e.g. I could drop a script onto the filesystem, reboot, have the script autorun and strip out everything?

Same here with my 4S, any help or info on how to fix this would greatly be appreciated.

Need Help Please

Dear All.

I have IPAD 3 ,GSM , with IOS 6.1.2 Jailbreak.
I tried the Ilex tool yesterday , and choose option 12, and reboot the devise.

after the Apple loge appears , it start the setting reset bar , but when it complete about 70 % , it hang with no response.
I tried to restart again and again, and the same hanging point occurred

I Believe this tool had distoyed the system...

any idea to solve this problem ...?

Hi, would you be able to give me some help on getting RAT to run automatically? thanks
strangely it resolved itself after I used iSpirit to remove BatteryDoctor and BatteryDetective.

Because I'd pulled other files off based on other instructions, everything else was in disarray so used RAT to remove all tweaks and start again.

I have strange problem
After I used rat and restored my iphone I still have some cydia tweaks installed but they don't show in cydia as installed tweaks .......
Why is that?
Is there something I'm doing worng ?

Do you have Cydia setup as user or developer? Some tweaks only show up in developer. You can change that in Manage and then settings top left.

well i am here to give testament that this tweak works like a charm :)

if it resolved my random and elusive crash to safe mode problem i have yet to see but the the whole cleaning process went extremely smooth.

Connect to iTunes to Use Push Notifications

Thank you for the great tweak. This tweak worked with me perfectly. I run it on a jailbroken iPhone 4 with 6.1.2. The iPhone was cleaned after option 12 was chosen.

But I found one strange thing, I didn't restore my phone from previous backups as I wanted it to be a clean install, therefore I installed all the apps from beginning. What is happening now is whenever I open WhatAapp I get this annoying message "Connect to iTunes to Use Push Notifications".

Can you please tell me how to get rid of this annoying message?

Thanks

Restored, various Cydia app settings remained....

Great software by the way!...

So I tried iLEX R.A.T. (1.10-125), both options and neither completely removed all traces of Cydia app settings and reg keys. I also tried iLEX RESTORE (1.1.33), both options, Restore 1 & 2 with the same results, traces of various Cydia app settings and reg keys remained. Any suggestions on a cleaner wipe would be greatly appreciated. (Manual folder deletion? not sure which ones...) This happens on a new iPhone setup and a restore from backup.

Some of the Cydia apps settings and reg keys that remained after restoring (biteSMS, CallBar, FolderEnhancer, Iconoclasm, iBlacklist, Mail Enhancer Pro iOS 6, SBSettings, MyWi 6, IntellilD, iFile, and Cyntact)

Hardware = iPhone 5 (MD644LL/A)
iOS = 6.1 (My Restore Profile has been jail broken since iPhone 3GS)

On a side note, I also ran into an issue when iLEX completed a restore. If the Passcode lock function was left on prior to the restore completing with iLEX. The initial setup would bypass a few menu options (language selection and country selection) in turn I didn't have an option to select a restore from icloud or desktop. Only after multiple restore tries, I finally figured out to turn off the Passcode lock feature and all was good!

Run iCleaner Pro after installing the repo. Write down the add-ons that also download with this app/tweak.

They are:
APT 0.6 TRANS
APT 0.7 HTTPS METHOD
APT 0.7 STRICT
BERKLEY DB
CORE UTILITIES
cURL
OPEN SSL

Once completed running iCleaner Pro to rid of all traces of leftover jailbreak items I then completely delete iCleaner Pro itself (including the above as the won't uninstall by simply deleting iCleaner Pro).
Afterward go into sources and delete the repo.
You're then back to stock with the barebones of Cydia remaining.

This worked, Thanks! I was not aware of the pro version of iCleaner. Now for a long night of setting up a million apps and tweaks....
