Round in circles!

The US iPhone without contract follows the same pricing structure as the US wifi iPad. So I'm guessing the prices will translate across making the price for the wifi only iPad:

16GB: £349
32GB: £449
64GB: £549

Seems logical to me

And now, we have come full circle, and we are back at the prices I first posted on this thread are we not?

Come on Apple, please put us out of our misery won't you?

16gb wifi = £399 at the cheapest, my 2p

i am lucky enough to have a work mate going to their holiday home in florida so they are going to pick me one up on the 5th april :D

they are not back till 19th though

basically i just ordered the dollars for it from lloyds at the terrible exchange rate of 1.4, so with the florida sales tax give or take a couple of dollars it will cost $540

my cost direct from USA with no import tax or VAT will be £376.20, and when i have bought ipods this way in the past i have always saved a little money so i figure £349 i'm afraid is dream land :(

No offence, but why oh why do people order currency from their bank? Should have got it from http://www.fairfx.com/ , would have saved you an additional $40. I ALWAYS order my currency from them, you will always get a better rate than the high street banks.

You could have even ordered one of their free currency cards, loaded it with $$ bought directly from them, and given that card to your friend to then purchase the iPad from the USA.

no offence taken, i checked out your claim as you stated that i would save $40! afraid not m8 i would save $2.90c so i am not that worried now as your site recommendation charges a £6 delivery fee (way over the top imho)

No you are wrong, the card delivery is free, and if you order over a certain amount, it's free delivery again.

No need to worry, banks love people like you, that's why they make billions.

I could even state a few other sites, again that would have saved you lots of cash, but like you, can't be bothered. Good luck with your bank making more profits because you can't be bothered.

/banks really need customers like you. I've just realised, they already have them!

Thanks for your kind words

I unreservedly apologise for my stupidity mr nazuk. i was merely responding to the original OP and giving my opinion regards uk launch price. Next time i make a personal decision on my finances i will be sure to ask your opinion.

Please accept my apologies as i sense you have an issue over this :D
