THIS Is the setup I want for my iPhone 13 mini. If only we had the blue Liquid Air for the 13 mini on Europe... The only place to buy this case is on Amazon, and for the mini, only the black one is listed. The blue one would look great on the blue 13 mini.

I am considering purchasing a Spigen Liquid Air case (I think that is the thinnest TPU case), and I’d like to know how that lip on the screen affects the usage of the home bar (you know, the bar at the bottom of the screen).

I’ve had multiple iPhones with cases, but never an iPhone without Home Button, and I thought that lip on the bottom could affect the multitasking or home actions.

Thank you.
The bottom lip has never interfered with my operation of the phone. On the XR, the screen protector did somewhat but this was because it didn't extend beyond the non-screen part of the chassis.

How is the grip on the nano? I have the same exact phone and love my silicone case but possibly want another option to swap back and forth
Ok, I put the Nano back on now that the phone is activated. I'll use it for a few days. It's fine but the Lifeproof does have a bit more grip. If I didn't have the LP or my 2016 SE with an Otterbox on it, I probably wouldn't have noticed.

It's not expensive and has free returns so you can always order it on Amazon to see :)

Do you guys think it’s possible to return / exchange a leather case within 2 weeks after purchase even if the case already shows wear ?

I have 2 great slim hybrid cases.

Tozo Black Hybrid - clear back, slim, and slight lip for screen protection. Fits great. Had their case on my XS Max and really liked it. Was around $11 on Amazon.

Spigen Ultra Hybrid Matte - matte/frosted back, slim, and also a slight lip for screen protection. is fitting tight as well and with the matte back doesn’t show as many fingerprints. Also, I was expecting the matte back to be slippery and it isn’t. This one was $17 on Amazon.

Which do you like better? Got the Spiegen case myself and it seems alright.

I have the Liquid Air. It doesn't interfere in the least with interaction with the bottom of the screen. The lip around the screen isn't very tall at all.

Which case is this?

/edit: already found an older post from you. It’s the Ringke Fusion.
Can you post a detailed photo of the raised lip around the screen? I’m curious how much it’s raised.

Received my second case for the 13 Mini, a Smartish Gripmunk (black version). I had forgotten that I had pre-ordered it and also got an Apple Leather case on release day, but I like the Gripmunk and it wasn't expensive (and I also like the Apple case), so I'll keep them both.

The fit is great, no gaps around the display, the cutouts are precise. The buttons feel clicky and are easy to push. The sides have a rough texture and are very grippy, the back has a smoother matte finish (shows no fingerprints at all). The case won't "drag" the lining of your pocket like some silicon cases do. Very nice. The design has a stylish simplicity. I got the version without Magsafe since I'm not interested in it, but they also have a Magsafe version for 5 bucks more.

I recommend it if you are looking for an inexpensive yet stylish slim case with great grip.

Is it easy to take on and off? How is the lip protection on the front and the magnet strength?
Fairly easy to take on and off since the sides are TPU, and theres lip protection on both the top and the bottom especially around the corners. And the magnet strength is super strong i tried it with my magsafe charger already.

I switched to OtterBox this year after many years in a row with various Speck Presidio cases. Starting last year, Speck really seems to have started cutting corners with their case design/structure. I splurged and got an OtterBox branded Corning screen protector as a bundle deal.

Have to say--super happy with this case. It's slim and sleek, which still allows you to appreciate the design and form factor of the phone, but the material it's made out of is super rugged.

Was it easy to apply the screen protector and does it fit properly? I picked the Defender for my 13 Pro and the Belkin screen protector is a bit too big and is bubbling up by the sides of the case.

Hey everyone. I usually rock the Otterbox defender and Belkin screen saver. Unfortunately that combo isn’t working well this year (the screen saver seems to be a bit too big).

Anyone have suggestions for a durable case that has a built-in screen protector?

Thanks!

Starlight 13 with the Spigen Hybrid Clear. Came from a Red 11 in the same Spigen but red/clear and that case held up amazingly well in 1.5 years! Much more protective than I expected, saved 100's of average drops etc. Not sure if i'll stick with this as there are so many more luxurious ones, but its been reliable and clean feeling so far. Used to use the Speck grips and they just went downhill over the years...

Except for some small text on the sides I am liking the clean look of this clear one, and the fit is perfect. Slight grip and shows off the creamy starlight perfectly.

Sparin glass which has always worked better than many others for me; the first one I tried went on 100% perfectly - a few bubbles on the bottom which were gone by morning.

Weird going from that vibrant red to starlight but I'm liking it.

First pic without flash indoors, second with - its a soft creamy white (lol) but very subtle.

I did find it easy to install—it comes with a bracket that is pre set up to just pop the phone in and knock the protector down on top.

The fit is great. It doesn’t go all the way out to the edge but pretty close.

I think the unicorn beetle pro has a built in screen protector

I was at Apple store yesterday looking at the cases. The dark cherry leather looked like dark purple, the one I ultimately bought for my sierra blue. Midnight leather is black, but the midnight silicone had a slight bluish tint that I thought looked better with the Sierra blue.
