Family/Friends discount is 15%. Employee Personal discount is 25% on hardware, 50% on software...
I was waiting for my friend's employee discount as well. But i found out that it was cheaper to get it from MacConnection when it was on sale for $1919 - $100 rebate and I got 3% FatWallet cash back that about $57.
Final price $1762 for a 27" i5 stock!

Do employees only get one 25% discount a year? Cuz I have a friend who has done, no lie, about 6-7 of those discounts this year alone. Hmmmmm.
As previously stated, since it's a high demand product, it could as much as 6 months from release date, therefore possibly 4 months to go, which by then, new ones might come out or close to it.
I am not an employee I am using someone else's employee discount. sigh hopefully it will be before the end of december

I highly doubt it's "illegal". What section of the criminal code could he possibly be charged with? I am sure it's just ethics and frowned upon and a cause for dismissal.
