I would take the top of the line macbook pro just due to the portability, actually you should get the midrange macbook pro instead of the highest end the 2.53ghz.

I honestly think that the $300 more for the 2.8ghz is a waste of money. The difference is almost zero unless you do constant rendering utilizing the cpu to gain that 30 seconds to a minute faster renders.
Hey but its your money so its not the wrong choice. As for the display profile, if you look under the macbook pro section you should find a thread or google. Curious what lcd display did you get on your mbp?
Maybe it is .. but I thought " What the heck , if Im going to pay 3000 , lets pay 3300 and have the fastest option
About the LCD Display , I have first to receive the computer . It was shipped on 24th and I still don't have a carrier assigned . It even startes " On Transit to Recipient - On Time " . Hope the parcel is moving and the chinese guys are not playing football with the boxes all that time

I got the 2.8 mbp and 24" LED ACD . Im writing on it right now
. And yes its amazing , but i must complain on something , Wireless ! . I connect perfectly to my Uni's hotspot but when I come home I get drop outs on a D-Link 2740B i have there . Does anyone have a solution ? I dont want to change another router ( swapped DG834G , DG834PN , DG834N , and now DSL-2740B from D-link ) .
