You welcome but didn't you say you paid for an unlock. I don't get it. You paid for an unlock your iPhone is permanently unlock why use software jailbroken sam unlock I don''t get it but whatever

Well I did pay for the unlock but I wanted to preserve my 4.1 jailbroken software. If I updated to 6.1 I would've had to revert to 4.1 again and use redsn0w which is a pain.

I think the unlock didn't attach so I had to use SAM to deactivate my phone and then reactivate through iTunes if I'm understanding it correctly.

Okay umm I still don't get why you have to revert back to 4.1. I mean you can rejailbreak iPhone on 6.1 with evasion but okay and if you pay for the unlock and you didn't get a confirming from swiftunlock email or anything saying your iPhone is unlock yet then it's probably still processing but okay I guess since your jailbroken already use sam unlock

Yep I did get the message from SwiftUnlocks. Everything worked as planned. Just didn't want to upgrade to iOS6.1 because it's a 3GS and I've read that it wouldn't work as well because the 3GS doesn't have enough RAM I think.

Oh well I don't know where you got that from but I still have my 3GS with iOS 6.1.3 on it and it works fine unlike the iPhone 3G where is was a pain I believe on iOS 4 or something like that but I mean it works fine but I get what your point

Okay if you in the USA unlocking your iPhone for T-mobile can be down at unlockfusion.net and if you wanna unlock your T-mobile iPhone just take your yourself to T-mobile and they will do. Problem solve. After reading some of y'all post it's ridiculous of how much money y'all spending just to unlock your iPhone like come on. Ebay is your friend but if you in the USA go to T-mobile or AT&T or unlockfusion.net or better yet do some soul searching on Google but 140.00 is ridiculous just to unlock your iPhone zamnnnn

My phone was unlocked with T-Mobile.

iPhone 5 on orange uk. I need a legit unlock site. Unlocksexpress.com kept me waiting five weeks and stop responding to my emails.

What i dont get is the variation of prices, surely they all cost the same, orange UK charge £20.44 for an official unlock so even if you have someone on the inside that can unlock the phone the price doesn't justify the service

Orange will only unlock your phone if you're out of contract, otherwise you pay hundreds in early termination fees.

The difference is many people want to unlock their phone while still under contract, for example travelling or relocating, or want to try a new provider.

This unlock works if you're still under contract, hence the price difference.

That's wrong, orange will unlock it after 6 months, I know cause Im an orange uk customer and unlocked my phone through them, up to about 2 months ago the requirement was just 3 months

You didn't pay any termination or other fees for this ?

Depends on carrier policy.

No because your not cancelling the contract just unlocking the phone, your still liable for the rest of the contract

Many carriers won't unlock phones until the contract is finished, and even those that do, still make it a hassle and require fees to cover the subsidized portion of the phone for the remaining length of the contract to be paid.

Not that long ago, it was hard even getting AT&T to unlock phones that were out of contract and already paid for.

Wish we could, but Softbank have their phones locked tighter than a dromedary's anus.

I need help. I have two iphones 5 that needs unloc. One is locked with Telenor - Norway NOR and the other one is locked with T-Mobile - Slovakia SVK. Can you recommend me a legit website to unlock them.

Will swiftunlocks.com be able to unlock an AT&T iphone 4 that is no longer active (the user upgraded to an iphone 5)? The imei isn't blacklisted or anything - the phone just isn't being used anymore.

Yeah they will be able to unlock it

Is it possible to unlock a iPhone 5 that's locked to O2 network? I have the phone's IMEI number, is there a way to check if the phone is unlockable? If it were possible I would buy the phone, found it online and it's in good condition but locked. So any help would be appreciated!

thanks!

Swiss Sunrise

Unlocking advice

I hope someone here can give me some advice on unlocking. I'm traveling to Europe soon and would like to use a pre-paid local SIM in my iPhone 5 while I'm there. For that I realized I need to unlock it from AT&T here in the States. I'm not looking to change carrier in the USA though, so my question is will AT&T know or care if I unlock?
I've had an iPhone since day 1, so I'm still on a grandfathered unlimited data plan. T-Mo coverage is poor in my town, so I'm not looking to leave my US AT&T plan, I just don't want to pay their crazy rates to add international voice, text and data for a two week trip!

Can I unlock and still continue to use the same SIM in the USA?
