I see holographic storage (or some derrivative) being implemented, and the necessity for a keyboard and mouse being removed. As shown in the video linked to, just have avirtual keyboard on the screen and let your fingers be the mouse. Throw in better speak recogntion and you're set.

Absolutely. We humans are primitive and have a very limited grasp on how the universe really works. We have much to learn.
