Lol. I don't know, maybe because I'm listed on various social networks and google+ as a Microsoft MVP for Macintosh and Social Beta Tester ?

Yep. Just got an email that said 'you have been invited to try Google's inbox'...

If I get any I'll pass them on to you good folks here to be sure :)

I know I would definitely like one. :)

I see Google going down the traditional path here. They bought Sparrow, one of the better 3rd party email clients for iOS which could support several email addresses and now this is the result and it can only support Gmail.

So, I've been using inbox for a few hours now on the iPhone 6 and like it. Not sure if I love it though.. Bit of a learning curve to it too, because of the drastically different way it sorts emails. Gonna give it a good few days of use on both my Nexus 5 and the iPhone.

One really nice feature is being able to see a snapshot of a video or a pic right in the Inbox itself. See below from my Inbox.
Second nice feature is hitting the big plus sign at the bottom right and having your favorite contacts pop up (chat head style) to simply tap their image and the To line is filled. A simpler process than GMail.

Yeah I'm using it on my iPhone 6 and it does some really nifty things. Automatically bundles emails into labels with uncanny accuracy; it's very smart. Also surfaces contents of emails so you can open a link or document without opening the email itself. I wish it were a bit more streamlined, though, there's a lot of clutter with pinning, reminders, sweeps, trying to trash items, these things. All of which are useful but make the app feel pretty heavy.

I'll be that guy and say I'd like an invite too! I sent the request to inbox but no dice yet.

It's really sleek. The only thing is that it seems like Google either wants you to pin it, snooze, or archive it (done). I like deleting emails I don't need (mostly email subscriptions, etc) and that's not really highlighted as one of the main options. Still, I find it much better than Dropbox's Mailbox app and I'm looking forward to see where it ends up going.

Yep, you have to go into the email itself in order to delete it. Instead of having a green check mark with swiping right or snoozing it by swiping left, they should make one of those a delete option.
