I ran into a bug today possibly involving digital touch messages. I found that I couldn't see more than a few days back in a text thread (but oddly, all attachments were still visible via the details button). I contacted Apple and was told to restore from back up. The back up was fine. I could scroll back more than a week without an issue. My wife then started texting me again digital touch messages and the same problem happened again. Contacted support and was sent to a senior engineer. Engineering is looking at iMessage right now. I'm not alone in seeing this problem.

I think I found a workaround for my text message bug: do not scroll up into history too fast. I don't know why this seems to happen right after I receive digital touch messages. Slowly scrolling up into history seems to allow history to work correctly.

Can anyone else verify this mail app bug? Go to All Inboxes. Enter a search term at the top left. Scroll down into the search results on the left and tap on one of them so that the email body is full screen and the search results become hidden.

Then click the home button, then tap the mail icon again and tap the "<Search" button on the top left corner to return to the search results.

Suddenly the formerly gray top area of the search results column is transparent and no longer shows the search bubble or cancel button, and the area is no longer tappable to jump to the top of the search results. The entire area is just gone. Text from the top most search result is jumbled with the signal strength icons.

See attached screenshots. The first one is the normal view. The second is after the bug has reared its head.

I am experiencing this on both an iPad Pro 9.7 and an iPad Mini 4. The only way to remedy it is to force quit mail.

Message app keeps rotating on me depending on how I hold my phone and goes to some kind of signature pad or scribble pad which is really annoying.

Also, arrow keys on the IPP Apple keyboard won't scroll through text as I am typing right now. Jumps to the bottom of the web page.

Lastly on IPP (maybe others too) if I switch to an app that only supports Portrait orientation when I switch back to an app that does support screen rotation it is locked in the Portrait view until I rotate the iPad up to Portrait and back again.

Anyone else having the issue of not receiving reminder and/or calendar alerts? This keeps happening, and already twice today I missed important agenda items because of it.

Do you actually have Siri (as in you can use it)? Have you tried restarting the device? Could Siri perhaps be disabled in restrictions?
So in migrating my iPhone 6S + over to my iPhone 7, somehow my restrictions got turned on? Anyway, turned my restrictions off and Siri was restored. I turned that nonsense off. Now I'm trying to figure out how to disable/turn off voice control...
[doublepost=1474484717][/doublepost]If reboot doesnt solve it I would say a "settings>general>reset>reset all settings" would be the next step.

In the transfer, it turned on my restrictions and Siri was in on that. Turned my restrictions back off and now I have control of Siri but Voice control is still on. Boo

There are some Voice Control settings in the Touch ID & Passcode section of Settings (they might only apply to the device when locked, but I guess that's still something).

Tried searching, couldn't find anything. I noticed that the notification center will let me scroll and scroll and scroll all the way to the bottom, but there is nothing there. It is only showing approximately the last hour of notifications. If I swipe left and clear the bottom most visible notification, a new one that was previously "hidden" will pop up.

Anyone see this, know a way to fix it without a restore? Syncing all these apps and songs is an all night affair :(

Can anybody with an iPhone 7 who restored a backup from an iPhone 6 confirm this fixes the problem of the camera roll not being in chronological order.

I've noticed that when I am using safari on my iPad Pro then close my cover then sign back in I always have a blank white screen. Didn't it used to open back up to that last page you were on in Safari or am I misremembering it? I am old. Just wondering if anyone else has this happen.

Bugs I've noticed on iPhone 7+ running iOS 10.0.2

1. Choppy animations overall and choppy scrolling in Facebook app and Tweebot app.
2. Phone randomly freezes (rarely, but sometimes).
3. Search box not always present in Apple Podcast app.

I noticed a weird bug but I'm not sure if it's related to iOS 10 but I noticed iton iOS 10.0.2.
Old videos that I shot on my old iPhone 5 in portrait mode are cut at the bottom and top and played as landscape on my iPhone 6. Anyone else experience this behavior?
When I transfer these videos to my wife's iPhone 6 Plus it appears they play fine on her phone.

Lags in multitasking on iPhone 6 and 5S.
Apple solved this problem in 9.2 now it returned. Seems like they don't keep previous solved bugs in next iOS update. Big thank you
