Still lagging in app switching on the phone. Keyboard lag on the pad is better when typing but still stutters on bringing it up.

Guys, does this version fix the battery drain on iPhone 6s?
Many people aren't really having that kind of an issue so it would be hard to say if it "resolves" it for some that might have it because even amongst those things are different and some might see something improve for them while others might not.

They also fixed the way suggested apps icons look against a dark/black background in the lock screen. Before they where almost invisible against black or dark backgrounds but now they appear ok.

Speaking of battery life, it has been phenomenal since I updated this morning on my 7Plus. 1hr52min usage/4hr31min standby. 96% remaining. By now I've normally been down to 82-84%. Yes it's early, but this I incredibly promising.

My GF's 7 as well. She is at 2hr10min/4hr5min and 86%. She would normally be around 78-80%. Same exact usage for both of us as normal.

The iMessage apps worked pretty good for me on 10.0.1 but now after updating they lock up and I have to force quit iMessage in order to get them working again.

Agree completely. Sometimes when others might see something improve others may not and then they wouldn't have the issue the other person is having because it's improving to them though not to the other person.

Had anyone noticed the 3D Touch shortcut for invoking multitasking and quick access to your previous open app?

While inside any app, apply pressure to the furthest left side of the screen you can and hold for a second. The multitasking cards will pop up.

Do the same 3D Touch but instead of holding for a second yank your finger to the right. It pulls your current app away and dives straight into the last app you were viewing.

I'm on 10.0.2 on a new iPhone 7. Coming from a 6+ so 3D Touch is new to me. I haven't seen this shortcut in any Force Touch video. Is this new? None of my friends with 6S' knew of this either.

Pretty sure that's one of the 3D Touch actions that was there from the beginning when it was introduced in the iPhone 6s line of phones. Unless you mean it now works differently somehow compared to before.

here
the 7 has been seeing all types of animation issues. most board members are aware and waiting on a fix by apple
Yeah, my 6s Plus on iOS 10 performs as well as iOS 6 did on the iPhone 5 (the gold standard of UI smoothness on iOS). My 7 Plus, on the other hand, lags quite a bit on UI transitions. I'm hoping for an update to fix this pretty soon...

Anyone noticed touch id is much slower when unlocking the phone? In 10.0.1 it was so fast that you couldnt even read the time when pressing on the home button. Not i press the homebutton, the lockscreen appears for 2-3 seconds and then unlocking the phone

The folder animation back to iOS 9 style. Also app launch animation seems to be the same as on iOS 9. It was berrer on 10.0.1

Also interested in.

Om my iPhone 6s with 10.0.2 looks like that is much better for now. From yesterday, I think it was about 2 PM when I update and hard restart to now 6:20 AM drop to 99% but yesterday just use phone once for call and once I did check barometer. In the morning was 100% and after a while dropped to 99%. We will see.
