NOT fixed

Ok well one keyboard problem not fixed. If someone has a hardware keyboard could they possibly check if using the cursor keys in the comment box does or does not still instantly scroll to the bottom? I'd probably jump back on the beta wagon on iPad if this is fixed

Its half fixed! LOL It works again in the search/address bar, but not text boxes!!!

Lmao. Hard to argue that stuff isn't a bit sloppy.

If anyone has a hardware keyboard I really would appreciate that answer. You have to type at least one character then use the left, right or up cursor. It's obviously related to that issue we saw with backspace during the beta.

It most certainly was not fixed in betas as it didn't appear until beta 7. When you are in a text field in Safari, go to '123' type one number or one character, then hit the space bar. It does not return to 'abc' automatically, it remains on '123'. But if you hit two characters on '123' and then space bar, it returns to 'abc' automatically. There are at least 5 threads discussing the bug and Apple is even aware of it.

Actually in safari it doesn't return to abc at all. You have to hit abc.

It will if you enter more than one character on the "123" keyboard and then use a space. It used to do it even if you just enter one character and then use a space, but somehow that got broken somewhere.

In the URL bar on mine it does not go back to abc no matter how many characters I input, I have to hit abc. In other areas/apps it will go back to abc, very inconsistent and annoying nevertheless.

It seems that many other apps aren't impacted by this, mainly Safari and other apps that use Safari view in them. In beta 3 it seems that the URL/search bar is no longer impacted either, just text entry fields on web sites basically.
