iOS 10.1 Dev Beta 4 Changes, Bugs, and Fixes

7P user here. Home button and touch screen are not working sometime, I have to lock the screen using power button and unlock it to make them work again.

I had this happen on Beta 3. Was unresponsive for about 20 seconds.

Depth effect seems to be easier to trigger now

My 7 plus too. Its very annoying and its not a software issue. I try every solution to get rid of it but its a hardware issue i think. Anyone experiencing that issue too on 7 plus ?

I have a JB iPhone 7 Plus 256 GB (Verizon version, but using with AT&T) and I am getting weird data issues. If I'm on wifi and data stops working, I can toggle wifi on/off and it will fix it. If I'm on LTE, I have to put it in airplane mode momentarily to restore data function.

Anyone else?

May also continue to stay on beta 2 even longer on 7P

I know it's betas but geez, after 10.0.x finals, get a grip on it apple. People like iPhones because of iOS don't keep messing it up repeatedly.

i'm on ios 10.0.3 now. i try 10.1 beta 1 ,2 and 3 and also 10.0.2. it happens always. i try to close haptic feedbacks but nothing happened . This thursday , i will go to apple store to try to explane this issue. i hope they will understand because i hear only in a very very quiet room.

Sounds like the random hang I'm experiencing. Have it most frequently in the phone and mail apps but have seen it on the home screen as well.

I took several photos in portrait mode. None of them are being saved to Camera Roll. Only the normal photos are saved.

its happening with me too, are we doing something wrong?

Portrait was introduced into Beta 1 of 10.1. Most reviews of this feature all said they couldn't wait for this to improve throughput the beta, and it will only get better and better... Maybe it's just me, but even in the wiki posts here, I never see improvements to the Portrait mode. has ANYONE noticed, or documented any improvements to this in the last 3 Dev Betas?

That bug has been around since I got my phone. This was supposed to fix it but no dice still. Just had a bout of 3G dropping. Had to airplane mode to get 4G back. Disappointed.

Unfortunately, the random hang occurred with the phone app tonight while I was on a call. I was unable to do anything in the app for about thirty seconds. I also noticed a stacktrace log which was created at the exact time this occurred.

Time to submit another bug report.

I've had that happen with iOS 10.0.2 once or twice. Almost like the stuck notification issue that would occasionally show up in iOS 9.

Battery life is better on my 6s. App switcher is still as stuttery as hell on my iPad Pro 9.7.

I've had that happen with iOS 10.0.2 once or twice. Almost like the stuck notification issue that would occasionally show up in iOS 9.

When notifications fill up, it gets even worse.

Well I am thinking it may be worse. Hard to tell for sure. Dont think phone calls are registering as usage time though. So it may be fine. Another day should tell more. IF I am correct and phone usage isn't counting then battery is probably ok or about the same as it has been.
