Since iOS 10

Overrated mess
So what is that supposed to be? You just have that on the screen since you installed iOS 10?

News on Safari Keyboard Bug!! I have a full response from Apple via Bug Reporter. Issue has been investigated and will be fixed in 10.2 Beta.

Looks like the same for the hidden button in music app. I got a similar message regarding that issue and 10.2.
Maybe they'll also get to another small annoying glitch by that point and fix the keyboard sounds setting once again applying to the calculator and list scrolling/selection.

Battery life is very good for me on iPhone 7.

Should be even better for GM next week.

P.S: Glad they've acknowledged the Safari keyboard bug and it'll be fixed in 10.2. People think fixing things like this is easy...

If there's indeed a keynote on the 27th, I think we'll see a release on the 25th or 27th, with Phil bragging how awesome the 7 Plus camera is with this new update.

That's because it is awesome. Have you used the Portrait mode or do you have a 7? I think the majority of people forget it's all done in real time which is impressive.

Well, to be fair, it's hard to say if it's mostly because there's something complex to it or if it's more that they simply didn't get to it earlier or perhaps some other reasons that are in play.

Oh, it is indeed awesome, I've seen the pictures taken with it here - lovely!

True. There are many more important things on the list to look at probably but now it's got their attention, it's good to know they'll be fixing it.

Delays in the resolution of issues such as these are more often related to priorities, not difficulty.

The major thrust for 10.1 was/is the promised 7+ dual camera functionality. Any other non-critical issues addressed are niceties.

I am beginning to think that this is spot on. 10.1 is really more like 10.0.5. A halfway build between 10.0 and 10.1, but unfortunately its 10.2.

"We don't expect any change until 10.2" what about that sounds non committal?
Change in what? I don't see any commitment to fix this bug. You can read that any way you want. Which may or may not be the intent. Just sayin'.

If they actually said 'This is on the list for addressing for 10.2', fine. Unless this was written by someone who can't write business English, I'm not as convinced as you all are. I'd like to be. This bug is crazy. Should have never existed in the first place.

ETA: Reading other posts after that one, if this is their standard 'answer' to everything that is 'on the list for the next round', then, okay. They could have phrased it better.

Well, it is somewhat of a legalism, sort of like "Not unlike". If they really wanted to be commital, they would say "It will be changed with 10.2". But, I think they are committing to the change regardless.

They wouldn't have even brought up 10.2 if they weren't gonna fix it

I'm still reeling with shock that they've even admitted there will be a 10.2 :p
Exactly. I don't understand why people are being so slow. Why would Apple ever bring up a new software update other than a public news release for some crazy bug or security fix?
