This is literally the smallest "bug" I've ever seen someone hardecore complain about

Its effects my usage every single day. I would hardly call that a small bug. Any time I use a comma and hit the space bar and continue typing as I have been on iOS for the last 9 years, I start typing numbers and random characters because I'm programmed for it to auto-switch back. Its a huge bug.

You're literally complaining about having to hit an extra button like can we just think about that

No I'm complaining that its not working as it has for 9 years. When you do the same thing every day for 9 years it becomes second nature. Have to think about hitting a button that you never actually had to doesn't just happen overnight. I even know that I have to hit the button but I still don't.

It's one button press during fast typing where muscle memory is involved. A small change there has decently noticeable ramifications. Even more so when things aren't the same across apps or even different parts of a single app.

So you're saying you know you need to do something but you are still unable to? I think we know what we're dealing with now lol

A little condescending now aren't you? There are over a half a dozen threads about this issue. Clearly I am not the only one that is struggling to adapt with it. Again, when something is the same way for 9 years you don't have to think about it. When you are typing 60+ words a minute on your phone and know the keyboard by heart, having to hit that extra button doesn't compute.

.....it's pressing a button.....

You clearly don't understand the concept of second nature. The button never had to be pressed for 9 years. Learning to press it will not happen overnight. It could take weeks/months. You are retraining your entire brain.

I'm sorry, I just cannot wrap my brain around the fact that you're complaining about the fact that you have to hit a button 1 extra time like I just had to do it for this post and my world remained unchanged. However I cannot say what is and what is not a problem to you

You don't have to "wrap your head" around anything. Are you seriously going to complain every time somebody reports a bug that doesn't bother you?

Protip: quit while you're ahead

But, it's not consistent. It only happens in Safari. Literally ALL other apps are unaffected and you can type as normal. As others said, it's programmed into our muscle memory to hit a comma, then space, then keep typing.

Now, it looks something like "It's programmed into our muscle memory to hit a comma, 35-(6#$@" until you realize you've been hitting the wrong keys and you have to delete everything you said after the comma, hit the ABC button again and finish typing what should've already been there.
