The icon minimizing slowly at the end?

No, the entire animation on the LEFT goes from slow to fast and the wallpaper doesn't start animating until about half way through, so that lags behind at the end making the whole thing just look weird.

Quote me where I complained lol

This is literally the smallest "bug" I've ever seen someone hardecore complain about

You're literally complaining about having to hit an extra button like can we just think about that

So you're saying you know you need to do something but you are still unable to? I think we know what we're dealing with now lol

.....it's pressing a button.....

I'm sorry, I just cannot wrap my brain around the fact that you're complaining about the fact that you have to hit a button 1 extra time like I just had to do it for this post and my world remained unchanged. However I cannot say what is and what is not a problem to you

AKA every single post you've made so far.

Interesting that people say the close animation problem is still there. The issue went away for me in Beta 2 on my 7 Plus and hasn't been back.
Just watch your wallpaper as you hit the home button. It has that extra "snap" at the end. It's more noticeable with some wallpapers than others.

I'm going to have to side with you guys on this one. I've been using iOS since iPhoneOS 2, and this 123/abc bug is driving me crazy. Muscle memory has been betrayed many times since that bug came out.

Not that my opinion is necessary, but i agree. Driving me crazy and confusing people if I'm not paying attention to the message before I hit return/send/whatever. Let alone password entry is beyond frustrating when you can't remember if you botched it up or not.

Muscle memory is an amazing thing. Especially when it comes to something like typing, it's difficult to change.

Don't worry, it will be fixed in iOS 11, you'll only have to wait a year.

Oh and by the way... stuff that works perfectly fine right now will not work in iOS 11 anymore and you'll have to wait until iOS 12 to get it fixed.

Same for me. Not sure why it has remained for some. No issues for me on my 7+ besides a slight animation stutter when using the app switcher. Hopefully that's cleared up with beta 3.

is your Wifi working ok on the 7 plus? read someone's post saying beta 3 broke their wifi (although on a 6S)
Two other iPhones on iOS 10 and an Apple TV are working just fine over the wifi connection, seems like my device on the beta is the only having issues.

I do think that this bug gets too much attention, however I can imagine that it may be very irritating for people using Safari a lot. Imagine that someone changes the QWERTY keyboard into for example YWERTQ keyboard - would it be easy for you to type on that as these are "only 2 buttons"?

The icon minimizing slowly at the end?

Do this:

Open an app from the home screen, wait a couple of seconds, then close it.

Then open an app but close it immediately after it's full screen. Notice anything different about the animation. Notice how it's just one motion and everything stops at the same time in unison?

That's moving two letters multiple spaces. I think this issue is more like the "issue" where you have to press your home button twice to unlock your phone. Tragic, really.

Has anyone tried a Reset All Settings to see if the animation issue gets resolved?

I never noticed the different behavior in this situation. Nice catch!

These threads have begun looking more and more like this year's Presidental debates..
That's what happens when you get people coming in here trying to tell other what is and is not ok to have an issue with.

You are (either on purpose or not) continue to misunderstand the issue as far as its context and subsequent impact. It's been explained a number of times but the misunderstanding seems to remain. That's alright though since someone's understating and "approval" of it isn't really something that's needed or anything like that.

A law student that can't remember to press a button an extra time on his iPhone lol

It's not about remembering to press an extra button. It's that we've been conditioned for 9 years and also the fact that it's only Safari that has this issue.

So we have to concisely think about which app we're typing in so that we know what keyboard glitch to watch out for instead of just typing the way we've typed for 9 years and all other iOS apps.
