Just updated to iOS 10.1 beta 3 from 10.0.2. I immediately notice smoother, faster animations and loving the Portrait mode! yay!
Gonna bite the bullet. I trust your opinion. Lol

I'm guessing it's likely because it's using the web container view that essentially all the 3rd party browsers have to use and that is basically the same view that is used by Safari, which means that the bug is likely somewhere in there.I'm using Chrome and seeing the same behavior.
Chrome (actually, pretty much all web browsers in iOS) are all basically just a pretty skin on top of Safari; they all use Safari to render pages. I don't know why the abc/123 bug would be engine-specific though.I'm using Chrome and seeing the same behavior.
let me know how it goDefinitely noticeable. Currently charging both devices to 100% so I can do my battery 'test'.
Can't comment on that. I keep hardly any message threads.Only weird part so far is that there's stutter when you scroll slowly thru messages list. If you scroll fast there's no stutter. Still kinda disappointed for a new iPhone 7 Plus with 3GB of RAM.
At least for me, all the pluses I have owned, they always have stuttered while scrolling in music, messages, settings, etc. I have learned to live with it.Only weird part so far is that there's stutter when you scroll slowly thru messages list. Whats that new iphone 7 animation everyone is talking about?
I have to say, though... this one is EXTREMELY irritating. As someone who is adamant about using punctuation and contractions - especially since, you know, words like "your" and "you're" aren't interchangeable - it's a huge detriment to fluid typing. This is literally the smallest "bug" I've ever seen someone hardecore complain about
So do we know what changed if anything on this beta?
that really isnt a system wide change or improvement.the only change I noticed is tapatalk app scrolls more smoothly on 6s+.
Unless I learn of any red flags soon, I may end up doing the same!Just updated to iOS 10.1 beta 3 from 10.0.2. I immediately notice smoother, faster animations and loving the Portrait mode! yay!

So far so good! the first couple of minutes it was a bit stutter-ish (I'm assuming due to indexing) but app open/close animations are fixed and now it's silky smooth and very responsive all throughout. Very happy so far. Plus portrait mode is great, I love seeing it apply the bokeh effect in real time. Very cool stuff.Unless I learn of any red flags soon, I may end up doing the same!
its 2016, we should not be talking about lag and stutters so I understand everyones frustration but really, people come on here to see if other issues have been fixed or features added. Im sure nobody wants to read back n forth posts about how animations should work. This forum really needs to calm down. There is no need to prove a point.

You bet! Good catch!Sorry to veer off-topic, but are you a trumpet picker by any chance?
For those seeing this, if you add "Button Shapes" from the Accessibility settings, is the button at least outlined? Or is it "super invisible"?Damn, forgot about this bug. Still there for me too. Weird.
Release Notes are available on the wikipost. So do we know what changed if anything on this beta?
I don't know what a trumpet picker is, but he has a great avi! Go Blue!!!!You bet! Good catch!

Ha! I didn't even catch the typo. Go Blue! 〽️I don't know what a trumpet picker is, but he has a great avi! Go Blue!!!!
Message list stutters too....
Not hard, just other priorities. This isn't a critical bug, but an annoying one. They'll squish it eventually, but they clearly have more pressing issues to address.I find it amazing that this has apparently been so hard for them to fix.
