Beta 6 seems to be the best battery life I've had with any beta.
iPhone 7.
I have to agree. Right now, I'm at 59%. Same usage every single day. 24 hours ago on the previous beta, I was around 40%.

Why would you be frustrated? Most would love to see betas as much as possible. If it frustrates you you should remove the beta profile and only get releases. No need to subject yourself to such punishment since its voluntary
Except the original post references frustration:I wasn't implying that I am frustrated. I just meant that all the other beta topics are lowercase in the title. I was merely making an observation.
I like the all caps "BETA" in the title. Shows the frustraton of constant beta updates.
Where did I say "I am frustrated". I said it shows frustration, i.e. of the OP. Whats up with you guys :\Except the original post references frustration:
Better than 9.3.5 !!
I've never had overnight standby battery drain issues. Even with this build being worse than last on battery life, I lost 0% overnight.
Last night went to bed at 80%, woke up at 80%. BT on, WiFi Calling on, but all apps closed out.wow , I loose about 1%/hour overnight with bluetooth off and LTE....
It takes a long time to go from 100% to 99% but then....

Try a DFU restore set up as a new phone, if that doesn't fix it contact Apple. You can either take it into an Apple Store or do a mail in repair.. they will send you a box out for your phone. Or If you have AppleCare+ you might get an express replacement.Have this on my 7, not sure when it started as I updated my phone as soon as I got it. Lose about 15% every night.
I went to bed at 11PM with 95% and woke up at 6AM at 88%...
It was the same with 10.1.1 and beta 4&5 , so maybe my phone could have a battery problem?
Awesome I'll give the dfu reset a go. If you're able to post back and let me know if they fixed your issue that would be greatly appreciated.Try a DFU restore set up as a new phone, if that doesn't fix it contact Apple. I sent mine off to apple last Friday for the exact same issue you have and it's due back tomorrow hopefully fixed.
Will do .. good luck with the restoreAwesome I'll give the dfu reset a go. If you're able to post back and let me know if they fixed your issue that would be greatly appreciated.
in some cases it is a hardware fault though. There are members on here who suffered the standby drain issue and nothing they did would fix the problem, but a replacement handset at the Apple Store did fix the problem, and guess what? The replacement handset which didn't suffer standby drain was also using the same iOS versionGuys i wouldn't bother doing a restore it doesn't solve the problem, this is really a problem with the ios 10 software. It has been brought up on numerous tech sites and on loads of forums including many on macrumors, why can't macrumors or others make apple aware of this or highlight more, it is obviously a problem for too many to be ignored, instead apple takes easy options of adding silly things, it's annoying after giving 1000€ for a phone to be losing 15-20% on standby and apple does nothing!
I can accept what your saying if you got a new phone and this was happening but in all fairness this is also happening to people that have a 6 and 6s that were on ios 9 and had no standby drain, not trying to pick a keyboard fight or anything but if you had the battery drain you would have seen on the forums that it's happening on all iPhones that have updated to ios 10, i updated to ios 10 on my 6s and got the drain but it only lost maybe 1or2% overnight on ios 9, and i now have same drain on the 7plus?Will do .. good luck with the restore

My 3 year old iPhone 5s with 29% battery wear is running iOS 10.2 beta and that only loses around 3% over night on standby, so the latest iOS is not causing any issues there.
Cheers
I agree that some users with previous iPhone models do seem to have battery drain issues that they didn't have before ios10, but many users don't have this problem with iOS10 and Luckily my old iPhone 5s has slightly better battery life on 10.2 than it did on 9.3.5. That's with older devices though.I can accept what your saying if you got a new phone and this was happening but in all fairness this is also happening to people that have a 6 and 6s that were on ios 9 and had no standby drain, not trying to pick a keyboard fight or anything but if you had the battery drain you would have seen on the forums that it's happening on all iPhones that have updated to ios 10, i updated to ios 10 on my 6s and got the drain but it only lost maybe 1or2% overnight on ios 9, and i now have same drain on the 7plus?
Yours does sound software related rather than hardware if you manage to fix the standby drain for a few days before. You could try turning off location services completely to test.Ya i agree with the 2% per hour drain is about right and also with it either a Rouge app/process, about a couple of weeks ago i disabled the weather and widget and i was only losing 1 or 2% overnight and i thought that was the culprit solved but 3 or 4 days later it went back, could it be the location services, I have most of the system services turned off except find my iPhone?
Haha been there and done that too with the android roms.Ya seems to be, tried restoring twice, setting up as new, ya tried turning off location services and notifications and this and that, it reminds me of the days when i was on Android trying to fix this and that with roms and not enjoying the phone, lol.
