iOS 10.2 Dev Beta 1 Changes, Bugs, and Fixes

Hopefully tomorrow. In the past (most recently 10.1) we had one week and two weeks between new beta's.
Next week. Beta 1->2 is almost always 2 weeks, sometimes even 3 weeks. Especially for a X.x build.
Noticed today the status bar at the top of the screen disappeared. Needed a power cycle to bring it back. Don't think I turned off 6s since installation of beta 1.
I really wish they would fix this. I had to restart my Air 2 three times yesterday.
All of a sudden my iPad Air 2 keyboard is showing up mid screen, not at the bottom. A restart didn't fix. Bad enough that I may have to downgrade.
I got it on my iPad Air 2 last night.
My iPad Air 2's keyboard is working perfectly.
Are you using the split keyboard feature? That allows you to move the keyboard higher on the screen. You can tapping and holding on the hide keyboard button in the bottom right of the keyboard and selecting "Dock and Merge". That may fix it.
Next week. Beta 1->2 is almost always 2 weeks. I think its only been one time in history there was a 1 week 1->2 beta, and it was a X.x.x build not, X.x.
8.1 and 9.2 were a week. So it's definitely possible. There's no way to prove one way or another, just depends on Apple's timeline for each beta. FWIW, I'm calling this week.
Okay seriously. No one is answering why sound isn't be addressed as a bug. Isn't the whole point of these betas to have things fixed by the testers
As you can see many things have been addressed. But as essentially usually the case with pretty much any software, not everything is.
10.2 Beta 1 has been excellent for me, no issues whatsoever and performance has been top notch on my 7+
The only change I've been on the lookout for is the heavy noise reduction that has been plaguing the 7/7+ and even 6S/6S+ since iOS 10 was introduced. Bingo! I don't normally use split keyboard. But it was split yesterday when this started. Must have done this accidentally.

Interesting thing about long pressing to get the Dock/Split option: shows that is not necessary to have 3D Touch hardware in place to implement things by holding a key down longer. Wish they would give us that option for 6 and below...

Right? Everyone should just make me say it won't be out every single time.
I'm at the point where I am going to give up entirely. Apple has broken every single custom this year.
