My goodness, you really need to have that phone looked at. Something is seriously wrong here.

That is the one thing I haven't done yet, is to go to the sorta local apple store. Maybe some small yet significant hardware component has failed that is stopping it from sleeping normally or otherwise causing the battery drain.

Also, I have replaced the battery, but the original was only reporting between between 6 & 11% wear.

My guess is that the battery has gone bad or is going bad. iOS 10 has been out for quite a while. A battery can easily go bad since you had 9.3.
Not every version of iOS 10 has had bad battery life. Sometimes you have to look at the one consistent and that is the hardware never changed but the battery can and does degrade. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, that's crazy rapid drain. I would get it looked at sooner than later. You said you've already had that battery replaced. When and where?

Not sure if anyone else noticed this but ever seen the last beta, my watch will show text message notifications IF my phone is unlocked and I am using it. Before this before and all other versions of IOS, my watch would never show any text notifications on the watch while my phone was unlocked and I am using it - it would just appear on the phone only.

Anyone else see this?

An apple exclusive place down here called experimac. I trust the work because the phone has been behaving exactly the same as with the still good apple battery

I find this is the best battery life amongst any of the beta versions. There is no sudden drain..overall close to release version. Notes app has become very slow on my iPhone 6 Plus and struggles to open. Not so on my iPad pro 9.7 inch. Spotlight search comes upside down on my iPad pro 9.7

For anyone experiencing battery drain, reset all settings and do a clean install.

It's Spotify on my device. I'm using it with Beats Solo 3. Device is getting extremly hot and battery is draining fast.

No issues with WhatsApp

I'm having the same issue. I did find that by placing Spotify in Offline mode, it helped with the heat.

I will try to delete spotify and reinstall it.
Mostly it occurs when I am listening from 8am to 11am, I will reply tomorrow if this is the solution.
If not, I will try this offline mode. Thanks!

Glad to hear I am not the only one.

Whomever is doing it, quit deleting or moving the recurring bug regarding the "+A..." button in Music.

As you can see in the attached screenshot--the issue appears on my iPad running beta 5. It is certainly not "fixed."

That's the +ADD button (at least, for iPhone), not the +Add To Playlist button. The problem does not occur on iPhones, that should be clearly stated.
[doublepost=1493764118][/doublepost]For some reason I'm getting an unusually large number of AutoBugCapture related to CloudDocs (iCloud Drive). Something of note is the text 'DailyQuotaExceeded'. Anyone got this?

I noticed the issues occured after I enabled Siri app support for WhatsApp. It could be a bug within WhatsApp itself. Does Spotify use Siri app support?

No, Spotify does not have support for Siri, due to restrictions set by Apple as to what kinds of apps can contain support for it.

The difference here is these folks are attributing it to specific apps (like several of us here have been telling you) not iOS itself. Usually there is an app causing this behavior. Including perhaps Apples own iCloud items (photos, safari sync, etc) that get hung up for whatever reason. Hopefully you can pinpoint whats the cause and get it corrected. I suspect these guys will have to wait for updates to WhatsApp and Spotify for resolution.

Thanks but my problem is that even though my setting time zone toggle in system settings is toggled to off there is still a grey arrow indicating that it was used within the last 24 hours even though the toggle is OFF and has never been switched to on! I started noticing the location arrow popping up in the status bar ocassionally after 10.3-10.3.1 and I went to investigate what was causing it and it seems to be the setting time zone using my location. Seems to be a bug. I'm not the only one. And someone said it was the same way in the last 10.3.2 beta 4 so maybe Apple hasn't caught this bug yet.

This setting time zone is the most idiotic bug present since last 4-5 years and Apple doesn't give a f about it.
It happens if your ISP doesn't have good peering with Apple's time servers or there is an extremely high ping. That causes phone to constantly keep on trying to set up the time zone even after repeated fails. Disabling doesn't prevent it. The lookup keeps on happening.

Why didn't it do it for me ever before 10.3? I've never seen this since after 10.3-10.3.1. Been using iOS since iOS 4.

I'm quoting myself, hue hue..

I reinstalled Spotify and the heat- & battery drain issue is gone (for now) I was using the streaming service from 8am to 11:45am. no issues :)

Maybe the update process through all the betas had messed things up

Anyone having issues with AirPlay?

When I swipe to the second control center screen to select an airplay device none of them show up. I've rebooted everything.

On the main control center screen, if I select AirPlay mirroring, my AppleTV shows up as an available device to mirror to.

If I cancel out of AirPlay Mirroring and then slide back to the second control center screen I see all my AirPlay device for about a second and a half before they disappear.

And if I select my AppleTV for AirPlay mirroring - All my other devices show up in the control center selection and I can even select one of them, like my AV receiver and it works fine but as soon as I select it, all of the other devices go away and if I change back to my iPhone the device I did have selected goes away.
