Just got a carrier update.. T-Mobile went to 28.3

Perhaps that might be for removing the Feedback Assistant and some such features.

I feel like all of a sudden that I'm having transparency issues where I can see through layers of apps. I can see movement behind the Music player or in the Messages app. Is this a bug or was it always like that?

I had Beta 7, noticed it there I believe. Deleted the beta profile, installed 10.3 outright and it's still there. I have been installing all of the betas along the way.

Because that's the latest "beta" software out available with the profile.

I'm wondering what exactly you mean by movement behind layers of apps. Some of that is normal unless you have "reduce transparency" turned on. I have minor transparency in both the music app and messages, but it's been that way since ios9

Here's an example. The last text message I sent this person was a gif. In instance I go to find her location, that dark blob behind the map is that gif. On my phone it is moving. I never noticed that before.

I would rest easy as that is a feature. Been that way on my phone since at least ios10. Kinda neat but I'd prefer better battery life over those kinda graphics.

I agree with you. Seeing through apps feels like a bug to me, I'd much rather the layers be solid.

What updates are you looking for?

Well is the portrait mode still in beta? It's good but could be improved. Haven't seen or heard anything about it since its release. Also I figured there would be some software tweaks to the camera, adjustments to the image quality in low light, overall improvement, etc. I'm just ready for apple to start using larger optics and sensors in the cameras.
