  • Respring bugs from iOS 10.2.1 carry over: swipe down Notification Center, hold the screen halfway between widget and notification views, tap on Search bar and then lift finger off the screen, or hold the AirDrop and Camera buttons in Control Center at the same time then release
if this bug is fixed.. i'll give it a go for beta 2

Might you interest me with any scenario where you would be required to swipe the notification screen down and hold the screen halfway and tap the search and then lift the finger off the screen? Or, hold the Airdrop and Camera buttons AT THE SAME TIME? I am curious why would you do, what seems to me to be a contortion of a kind, except in hope of discovering "bugs" through totally random, completely illogical, unintended use of the phone? :D

Because they're not real life usage bugs.

Just some Youtuber with no life who makes $ off videos who has all day to nitpick the phone to death to get clickbait views on his channel.

They are not by any means urgent bugs to fix as no one would do that real life.

Bro I got the update now. So thought to share it. Why u feel offended.
Because there were about 20 posts above yours talking about it. There are always a lot of posts in these threads and having to wade through duplicate posts makes it hard to do.

So far, my own experience with this cycle of betas has been that the first beta was not bad, beta 2 introduced a couple of issues for me -

On my iPad Air 2, an intermittent issue where the device wakes with the screen stuck in landscape mode - and it won't go back to profile no matter what I do. Only a reboot will bring it back to working correctly. I haven't used beta 3 on it enough to see if the problem remains.

With my iPhone 7 plus (256gb), beta 3 brought with it serious battery drain issues, intermittent mail.app crashes, and general oddities that were not present in previous betas. Seems a big step backwards with this one...

Release Notes
Any chance of adding the XNU for kernel version each time? They are stored on The iPhone Wiki but if listed, it could be useful and also help to add them to The iPhone Wiki if a user isn't on that beta or doesn't want to/can't download the OTA/IPSW to check inside. I can do this without issue but it would be nice to have listed anyway.
