...so on the flip side, if my phone is muted and I accidentally press the Home button for too long, I won't hear a ding followed by "I didn't get that?" Just wanna be sure I get this right. I am *always* accidentally invoking Siri during the most socially awkward times

I know what you mean, the other day I said Hey Sarah, and Siri decided it was a good time to butt in on the convo.

Yup. If your device is muted, Siri is muted; if it's max volume, Siri is also max volume.

You can essentially do that already in iOS 9 as there is no "ding" for Siri anymore (at least on iPhones) and you can set Siri to follow your devices silent setting as well so that it wouldn't speak back.

She once replied to "Hey, Sonia" for me! o_O

Halle-freaking-lujah!!! This alone might just be my favorite part of iOS 10, I'm not even joking.

Now if only we could just type to her to begin with without having to mess with "tap to edit" I'd be even happier!!

Hrrrmmm - a little weirdness in messages. When I rotate to landscape I get the scribbles screen - but touching the keyboard icon to switch away to keyboard input doesn't work. It stays in Scribbles. Only rotating back to portrait puts me back in the keyboards. iPhone 6Plus.

It'd be great to have the option to can Scribbles altogether. I musta been a doctor in a past life. I can't write for sh*t and I have the Nun-rapped scarred knuckles from my youth to vouch for that. Even if it did work to hit the keyboard icon it's just one more thing to "aim" at when starting a text.

I'd report this and any other little bugs if I could get Feedback Assistant on the phone. Unfortunately, it did not download with the update, and it's also not available to sync from iTunes, and it's not on the App Store, despite being in the documentation for the Beta.

Still poking around. I'm sure I'll find more weirdness. Anyone find Feedback Assistant, please let me know! (I'm using the old El Cap one on my Mac for now - despite the Mac having Sierra installed, it also does not have a current feedback assistant)! o_O

Liking the 3D Touch pressure level varying he fastforward speed in videos with a number show 2x or 60x under the scrubber bar and just below the position marker. (First seen it in WWDC app downloaded video)

Feedback Assistant is only for the Public Betas. For Developer Previews, use the Bug Report website (Radar).

The keyboard button not working is clearly a bug, and I'm guessing that (when it's fixed) once you switch it it will remember which mode you had it in so you'd only have to switch it when you actually wanted to use the other mode. That's how it should work anyways.

Not sure if someone has found this, but you can now change the intensity of the reduce white point setting in Accessibility. :p

(the further the slider is to the right, the 'darker' the interface becomes)
And now accompany with zoom in and low light filter, the screen is much less shiny when at dark night. This is just great.

Guys, can anybody test landscape mode in app store on iphone 6/s plus ? I'd like to check if they fixed "rotating" preview images in landscape mode. Earlier, on Iphone 6s plus all screenshots look weird in landscape mode.

I don't understand why the Digital Touch messages send automatically, nothing else does.
That's how it works on the watch, I guess they wanted to mimic the experience?

You can just go full screen with the digital touch drawing board that way you get to draw more and choose when to send

Spotlight from any app. Don't pull down the full Notification Center, but only a bit.

Not sure if it does it on older devices, but on 6S with taptic engine there is a slight vibration, and if you release then (don't keep pulling down) it jumps straight to Spotlight instead of Notifications.

Some touch events are no longer interrupted by animations - returning to an iOS 6 behavior! I haven't tested everything, home screen animations appear to continue their need to complete before you can interact, but things like "add to reading list" in Safari allow you to scroll while the animation is firing.

This was mentioned as a new feature in the developer panels; the ability to blend animations and gestures. I've read inconsistent reports, but most animations seem slightly faster to me, and coupled with this I have yet to wince as I wait for an animation to finish.

Hopefully this come soon. REALLY like that look. Wouldn't the darker be easier on the battery as well?

Not with LCD displays which are the ones used in every iOS device to date. OLED displays like in the Apple Watch does benefit from that (black pixels are actually off so no battery drained by those for example).

I'm not sure if anyone else posted this but now when you 3D Touch an image in safari it displays the whole pic. Before it cut odd some of the image.
