iOS 10 has many new amazing accessibility options. Software TTY with a keyboard that has specific TTY-relevant quicktype replies is probably one of the biggest developments for the deaf community!

Just noticed this, and I don't like it because it reduces the contrast and makes it hard for me to see it.

True, but I think it's a throwback to the watchmaking industry, where the second hand is traditionally orange. I say traditionally because this convention isn't very common in modern watches; watchmakers usually make their second hand whatever color they want, but orange is an old standby

Perhaps they did it so that it would match the stopwatch inside the clock app.

PDFs attached to Notes can be marked up as they can be in Mail, as well as highlighting (press the markup button on top-->select text-->highlight). Changes sync across to Mac as well.

How is text selection, especially in Safari?

I was literally just thinking that it seems better as I was selecting some text into a word doc and it wasn't annoying me for a change. Not back to the days when it was first introduced when it seemed practically psychic but I've never been sure how much of that was due to ever more complex layouts either.

You either press/hold on a link to get the menu popUp where you will find a new option called something like ""Open in splitView"
Alternatively you can grab a tab in safari and drag it all the way to the right side and it should snap into splitMode as well.

Long Press the new page button in the upper right corner

I read a few pages back, someone mentioned that the iMessage feature where you can draw isn't great as it sends as soon as you take your finger off the screen and you can't change colours. If you touch the little up arrow, the drawing space goes full screen, you can then draw more detail and changed colours. You can even take picture/video and draw on it before sending. I am finding these features useless right now as I don't know anyone who has iOS10!!

I am aware of that, but thanks for pointing it out. It wasn't a moan, was merely stating that it's useless for me right now. I like what they've done, be great when lots more people join the public beta etc.

Maybe i'm doing something wrong, but previously in messages, you could press on a sent message to copy that message and paste it somewhere else. It seems like thats gone and replaced with a bubble that has a heart shape, thumbs up, thumbs down, etc.

Anyone know if there is a different way to copy a sent message? Sorry if this has already been addressed.

Did you check the bottom of the screen? :) should have Copy and then More (to delete etc).

If you just want to play with the new features, you can send iMessages to yourself.

Haha! I'm really not that bothered, I'm enjoying the whole update to be honest. Had very few issues and overall very satisfied with the beta considering how early it is. If they listen to feedback and polish it up here and there it will be a great release in September
