I restarted and set the time to 'just in the future' and it seems to work now. Will try it tonight. Would be nice if you could use any music selection for the 'alarm', ramping up until you wake up.

Just to add to the list:
Wake-up: works (my backup alarm is set to 10 minutes after the bedtime-wakeup alarm.
"Go to bed!" alarm: set to 30 minutes before 11:30pm (therefore 11:00pm). I get nothing: no notification or audible alarm.

It's pretty rubbish that the app explicit purpose of improving your bedtime routine doesn't do the important part of reminding you to go to bed.

This is my experience as well on my 6s+. I used to get a bedtime reminder on a previous beta, but that is gone. I thought my wake-up alarm wasn't working either until I turned up the volume. It was just too low (quite pleasing though).

Since it was in the beta of iOS 10 I have used it, and every night and morning it works just fine.

Same here... its far more accurate than I would have guessed. It seems that when you get randomly woken up you check the time out of habit.. I find a lot of interrupted nights which makes sense considering...

Overall its a nice feature with very interesting information.

I have the wake up alarm every morning, but I never got the go to bed alert.
Same. I can never figure out what's going on with this app. It's such a basic functionality—so simple that one might compare it to a "hello world" level of simplicity for an intro to programming course. And get Apple completely managed to botch it up.

I switched it off and back on and it works now. Set my alarm for 08:50 with a 15min reminder.

It works. It's obviously just a bug. The alarm worked flawlessly during the betas. Turning it off and back on seems to have fixed it for me.

The reminder has been a little bit spotty in showing up, but the alarm always goes off. I kinda like it.

Well, it doesn't appear to be reminding me when it's time to go to bed. It is setting off an alarm when it's time to get up, but most of the time this is after the alarm that's already woken me.

Not sure why Apple have designed this in the way they have, as I don't have the ability to set different wake up times for different days. Actually, I do on the Alarm screen, which is what the Bedtime screen should be using to pick up the wake-up times. Having Alarms configurable in 2 places, with one place having more configurable options than another is just stupid.

Hopefully they'll fix this in an update, and use the Alarm screen to configure wake-up and the Bedtime screen to configure when I should be going to sleep.

I'm also confused about how you 'turn it off' when you get up. The alert goes away quickly and I think if you swipe that it will disable it for the day, but if you miss it, what?

Say you hit snooze and want to then disable until tomorrow. Turn it off and on? Not at all clear or a good answer IMO.

Also, last night I was watching a training video and I know I didn't get the 'go to sleep' pre-warning or actual warning (there's another at the set time, right?).

Seems like a lot of usability testing fell through the cracks.

I've never even seen that popup. I did a switch off / reboot / switch on thing last night. It always goes off fine in the morning, but never in the evening to tell me to go to bed, except for a few times at first. I never saw it on my phone, but on my Apple Watch. I wonder if people having problems have Apple Watches?

I can't see how having an Apple Watch would make a difference. It worked well during the betas. The notifications show for me.

The Clinton Archipelago unfortunately
The other day I woke up in the middle of the night, because of a damn mosquito. I picked up my iPhone, turned on the Flashlight and went hunting ( :D ). I also checked Tweetbot and Mail for a while until I killed the damn thing. Went back to sleep.

Bedtime alarm goes off. I checked what it had tracked: nothing at all. Registered a full night's 9hr sleep even though I was walking around with the flashlight open for a good while.

Have it disabled ever since.

Maybe the entire mosquito thing was a dream, or a glitch in the matrix.

Well, it's just something I've noticed that stood out, and the Apple Watch also intercepts notifications, so there could be a glitch in there somewhere. Just a thought.

I have thought it was due to Do Not Disturb. I have that come on about an hour and a half prior to when the bedtime alarm would go off. I thought it would still put something on the screen but maybe not make a sound but nothing since early betas. Once, while looking at the display around bedtime, I had a notice and sound. Phone locked, I do not see a notice nor do I get one on my watch. It does however wake me each morning with a more pleasant sound than standard alarms.

Further investigations over the last few nights have led me to believe it works if you disable the feature and turn it on again. It may only work the first time the wake-up alarm sounds though.

I turned it off, then on after this morning's wake up and it worked with tonight's reminder. That didn't happen the day before. I'll need to repeat a few more times, but if that's the case at least it's temporarily hackable until a full fix is found.

Worked this AM fine, and I noticed the little 'Stop' 'button' at the bottom to actually turn it off, lol. A little hard to find that when you are first waking up, groggy. Not exactly the best UI for an alarm.

Or maybe it is... if you can't locate the little link to stop it, you aren't awake enough to stay awake? :)

I made an account here just to answer you guys cuz i think i know how to solve it. It happend to me to. Go to bedtime and go to options in the top left corner (or something like that. I dont have english on) and Check if the days you want it to record and turn the alarm on, is yellow and NOT grey.

All of them are marked yellow (activated) when u set it up for the first time so i think you might have turned it off when you meant to select the days you want it to work. Hope this helps

Good point. The first time I configured it I thought I had chosen mon-friday to wake me up but in fact it was the opposite and they were gray. I will test it even saturday, albeit I also have Sleep Cycle running as every day for the last few years.

It works for me. I get the bedtime reminder as it is set to remind me before my do not disturb activates. I had to adjust my do not disturb timing. I love the gental wake up music. I agree that it would be better if you could adjust the wakeup time for different days / but I guess this app is more about creating healthy sleep patterns.

I tried it for the first time last night and this morning. I never received notification to go to bed, but the alarm did go off. It didn't track my sleep. I keep my phone on my bed and I do wake up several time throughout the night so I highly doubt it would be accurate anyway. I find this feature more useful if you have the Watch. Seems like to me they are trying to compete with FitBit and other health trackers that monitor your sleep/wake pattern. Also, with the revamp of Health and incorporation of more compatible apps it seems this way. I personally don't like it. I will be using the regular clock app as my alarm. I do like the Early Riser tone (looking for a MP3 of this to download). However, being able to select my own songs from my music downloads is my deciding factor.
[doublepost=1475118660][/doublepost]I think this might help.
