Gotta say, the new additions to Photos are IMPRESSIVE. Overnight while my phone was charging, it wrangled up some amazing memory videos, identified many faces with almost complete accuracy (and allows for merging i.e. if there are photos of someone from many years ago and now as well), and the search by objects works quite well too. Blah blah google photos blah blah I'm fully committed to iCloud photo library and actually enjoy the service, works seamlessly across all my devices, so this is an awesome update that seems pretty fully baked, especially given that it's all processed locally.

Also, time to leave notifications for public transit are awesome so far, spot on, similar to Google Now. Perfect for this manhattanite.

Just out of curiosity: how many photo's do you have synced in iCloud Photo?
After a night worth of charging and most of the time today, Photos has found 3 memories and 0 faces (still syncing, progress bar around 4-5%).

These are questions you never ask on a first beta. Let me answer this for you and all others who happen to see this.
Performance will not be remotely optimal. Many apps will stop working. Your device will reboot randomly. Expect a bevy of bugs. Do NOT expect your third party apps to function.
And if all this is fine by you- by all means, download it.
Don't come here complaining that a first beta made your device slow and I hate you Apple!

Actually there is no issue with asking about performance in a beta. It is often very interesting to see the development of performance across beta releases. If anyone wishes to install the beta on their main device they can freely do so. Some developers are not fortunate enough to be able to afford a test device and so their main device is the only option.

Remember this is a BETA release, not an ALPHA release. Most third party apps in fact do work and bugs (forgetting iOS7 first beta) are not necessarily phone-disabling. Please try not to shoot down posters for asking questions - this is what our forum is for.

By the way - performance is very impressive in this release and I am running it on my main device. :)

In Safari, hold the tab switch button to reveal a close all tabs dialog.

Can anyone with a 3D Touch device comment on how much sense the new gestures make? It sounds like the line between long pressing and 3D touching has been blurred quite a bit, which can lead to an unintuitive experience.

Also, I can't seem to find "up next" anywhere in the new music app. Is that a bug, or are they still working on that?

Can't see an option for "Add to" but here is what is present.

How about performance on the iphone 5s ?
Better or worse then ios9 ?

Actually kinda same or somehow a little bit better maybe. Couldn't really use tho, upgraded just a couple hours ago.

But for the first beta, 10 feels like heaven compared to the 9 beta 1 on 5S.

Was thinking of installing the beta... But it seems alarms can't be snoozed with buttons. Will wait for beta 2 then.

Have anyone tried the "multi language keyboard"? I'd like to know how it works and how many languages can be active at once.

I keep swiftkey just for this feature.

I can't add a song to a Playlist without adding it also to the Library. And since the three dots are missing in search it's much more complicated to do that. The big plus button only adds as song to the Library. So you have to open the Now Playing screen and add it from there, theoretically. I hope they fix it somehow, or the big advantage of 9.3 that your Library isn't clustered is gone.
Look at the settings for Music and there is one related to adding songs to your playlist automatically getting in your library.

I have tried with 2 so far (English UK and French), working?.. just about ... it still is a bit confused at the moment.
For this Swiftkey, is no match but I guess they might have to talk patents with Microsoft on that one ;-)

Is the input blocking gone from the springboard? I mean can you tap apps mid animation when closing apps and have it register? Or is the still the same way as iOS 9 where you have to wait till the animation is 100% over? Act3 you out there? :)

Anyone have success with the new Home app? I open it and I get stuck on "Loading Home"

Home app is working just fine for me. It isn't all that intuitive to use (I poked around for a while before I got the hang of it). After I got everything set up though, I really enjoy it, especially being able to add custom backgrounds to your rooms. It seems to work well with my Hue bulbs. The integration into Control Center is pretty handy too! Haven't tried the Automation features yet, though.

Any chance you could post some screenshots of the 'set up' and of the control center integration? Would be cool!

My alarm went of this morning as usual, and found a couple of bugs.

1. The screen stays off when the alarm is going off, you need to raise to wake or press a button.
2. You can't snooze from the lock screen, pressing the button doesn't do anything.
3. After failing to snooze from the lock screen I unlocked the phone and disabled my alarm.
4. Now the alarm timer is still showing on the lock screen with negative countdown and can't be cleared.

I took some screenshots (which after the reading the bug list thought wasn't possible?)

Lastly, the OP says you can register bugs without a Developer account. I get this message after signing in:

You must be a Registered Apple Developer to file bugs via Bug Reporter.
Register at https://developer.apple.com/programs/register/.

So if someone can reproduce this and log please.

Snooze button worked for me this morning.... So far the only bug I have is with the App Store.
