So today I got a response about some feedback I submitted about my voicemails not downloading or transcribing. They're like "our engineers have determined this is acting as designed; this only works on 6s, 6s+, and SE". Well I have a 6s+, which is why I submitted the feedback in the first place. Anyway, it started working later on the day I submitted it, so whatever. Just saying.

I sure hope that's not the final word on that feature. I hate not getting stuff I could actually use!

Is anybody experiencing high battery drain in iOS 10 PB 2? I have an iPhone 6s and it is draining drastically with minimal usage. The standby time when I go to bed and then when I wake up and see almost 20% is drained already.Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Have a look at battery in settings. It will tell you what you need to do.

Seems to be a bug where if you're in a call and your phone was initially locked and on silent, you don't get any vibrations if you receive a notification.

There's a messages bug that's going around. I just got it yesterday. It crashes the message app whenever you open it. Restarting your phone helps some people, some people has to open the messages app in landscape mode & text in landscape & it temporary fixes the issue. Another temporary fix is to change the font size one size bigger. Beta 3 is worst than beta 2.

I hope this isn't too dumb of a question.

Is beta 3 the same as public beta 2?

Yesterday, while on a phone call, I received an emergency severe weather alert notification. The notification, while not audible (vibration only), immediately terminated my phone call.

While this may make sense in that it stresses the importance of the notification, perhaps I was on a call related to that emergency - either with family members or authorities. In that case, I wouldn't want the call to be terminated. In a true emergency situation, it might be problematic reestablishing the call.

Is this the way it is "supposed" to work? I would have expected that I would have just received a normal notification alert in the background.

Doesn't really belong in this thread, but I didn't want to create a new thread for such a small post. But I think we may start seeing betas stack up weekly now. If the rumored launch of the iPhone 7 is true, it would be Sept. 16th. Meaning iOS 10 will launch Sept. 14th and the event will probably be Sept. 6th/7th. GM build is usually seeded 2 weeks before the event which would be August 23/24thth. We typically see 6-7 betas for a new X.0 release of iOS. Meaning there are 5 weeks until the GM should seed. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw beta 4 today.

Liking your logic, hope it drops today

Not getting my hopes up, but I completely see your logic
Agreed. Not getting hopes up, but it makes since and I wouldn't be surprised. If it doesn't happen this week, then B4 will drop next week, and then B5/B6 would have to be week to week in order to make the typical GM schedule.

In a kind of circular reference way, did you just end up agreeing with your own post?

I agree and it looks this way, btw update is not working so it might be coming today.

Well, having used all the betas since the beginning, I decided to try and turn off "raise to xyz" and see if that made battery life better. Since I turned that off, battery life has just gotten worse. Only thing I changed. I though it would be much better but its now worse.

I mean, with iOS 10s statability and according to the release notes, it is pretty cleaned up already. I wouldn't be surprised if it only had a couple more betas...Apple isn't sticking to there normal schedule this year. Hahaha.

I am pretty sure my extreme CPU/power usages are tied to the new features of Photos. Do you have iCloud Photos? How many total? I noticed my power problems got worse the further Photos got doing the 'deep learning' thing on my photo collection with the phone getting hot often once I passed the 35k of photos analyzed as shown in the 'people album'.

If I don't use my phone battery usage is normal but if I as much as save a picture off the web the phone gets hot for 20 minutes or more.
