Is it me or do the arrows in mail now are shown as left and right to switch between messages instead of up and down arrows before?
I wish mine was working. Mine hasn't done much of anything. It's gone thru about 150 out of 1600 photos over the last week.
Um...the GM has never been seeded "2 weeks before the event." The GM has always come out the on the same day as the announcement keynote.
Been looking for this so apologies if I missed it, but for me, the emoji prediction/suggestions while typing seems to have disappeared? I know it's a silly thing, but I kind of liked it! Running Beta 3 on 6 and iPad 9.7 pro. :-(. I still get the replace option if I switch to the emoji keyboard and I have 'emoji' words, but they no longer appear in the suggestion boxes. Anyone else see the same?
You are right. I meant the final beta build. The final beta build all comes 2-3 weeks before the event.
My thinking is that we will see at least one fewer beta build this cycle. That's consistent with the longer hiatus between Dev betas 1 & 2, as well as the earlier than expected appearance of a public beta. In other words, I think Apple shares the feeling of many here that iOS 10 is more polished at this stage (and has been throughout) than previous iOS versions. So no need to cram as many betas in.
So, I think we stick with the every two weeks release schedule, unless an unexpected issue emerges.
My keyboard text shortcuts are not working either on the beta either, im sure it will be fixed over the next few releases.
I noticed this morning that the auto-update of apps doesn't seem to be working. I have to open the App Store and then the updates show up, but I have to tap "Update All" to actually get them to update.
Having a pathetic battery life in iOS 10 PB2. I am loosing 1-3 % charge every 10 minutes of usage. The standby time is as well draining very high, like when I go to bed and then wake up in the morning it will consume close to 20-25% of battery. Unable to find what is causing the battery to drain. I even tried to turn off background app refresh, location services as well as disabled auto brightness still no go. i am using iPhone 6S. I also erase all content and data and did not restore any previous backup. Downloaded essential apps from app store, still the battery is depleting very fast. Any fix that I missed to try?
My shuffle and repeat options have disappeared in my music app. I can only turn off Shuffle with my Watch.
I can use the shuffle all option. But if I select a song it still shuffles the playlist. They have only disappeared over the last couple of days. No amount of reboots/hard resets fix it.

I'm a bit confused. If you deleted the Contacts app which holds all of your contacts, why would all of your contacts not disappear from the phone app? Your phone app has a tab at the bottom which links to your contacts app, so I guess i'm not following the logic.

Got an iPad mini recently. Noticed on iOS 9 latest update DND was not working. I thought heck, I'll update it to iOS 10 beta to be in sync more with my iPhone and Apple Watch. Seems DND still does not work properly.
I enable it but notifications are still coming through. I've tried Reset all Settings, reboot, hard reset.. Any ideas?

I don't believe it links to the Contacts app, it just displays them within the Phone app in a similar manner that the Contacts app does.
Its fixed and gives you warning that deleting the contacts app does not delete your contacts. My contacts app is deleted on my phone. Contacts are still displayed and managed in the phone app.
I could never figure out why there was a separate contacts app on the iPhone and it's been there from the beginning!
when playing music through my car radio, on iOS 9.3.3 if i force closed the music app, the music would fade out. now on iOS 10 beta 3 it just ends immediately. not sure if that was the case in beta 1 or 2.
Sounds like the present state is the correct state. If I force close something, I want it to stop NOW!

same with me.. ios 10PB1 and 10PB2 are having very bad battery life on iphone 6s. it sucks really. previously even when i was on 1% it used to last for more than 1 hour in low battery and mobile data OFF mode.. but now it dies 1% every 5-6 minutes of use.. Any solution?
