This Instagram widget pops out on the bottom in the app switcher?
That's not a widget. Its a suggested app. Some of these are time based and others are based on your location or being connected to Bluetooth. Got those in iOS 9 all the time (such as if I was near a Starbucks (Starbucks app) or was in my car connected to Bluetooth (Podcasts or Music apps).

Not new. It's been around since iOS 9. It's the proactive Siri suggested stuff.

It's just been a lot more aggressive in showing something since iOS 10 beta 1.
Well this is a first time for me seeing it and I been on betas 1 and 2. I also went to handoff settings for installed Siri apps or whatever and it has appeared to be removed

Settings gone for it on your end too?

Yep. Looks like the options are missing. But the feature itself isn't new like those couple users thought. Technically been around since iOS 9. Just tweaked a bit more in iOS 10 beta 1-3. (And a lot more aggressive in showing a suggested app. iOS 9 would barely ever show one. Since beta 1 I've barely ever not had one show. It's totally opposite haha.)

Ok, cool. Yes, was aware of the feature. Usually triggers around shops and so on for me. I expect the settings are an oversight or perhaps in the middle of being moved. Thanks.

Probably just missing for this build because they may be making changes to it. Definitely possible since its behaviour has been tweaked, so that could be signs of then making changes to its code and such.

I did see something while looking around to see if they were moved to a different section. Noticed (not sure if new) Apple Watch Faces in the Privacy > Location Services settings. (See screenshot)

Interesting. Maybe something like auto switch to activity face at the gym or biking/running/walking location coming?

Weather widget cut off when using the smallest font setting has not been fixed in beta 3. (But it has been fixed in other widgets it also affected. Such as the Activity widget)

Could be! I'll be updating beta 2 to beta 3 on my watch a bit later. I'll definitely test some things out. (That is if watch faces is in fact something new to location services. I've personally just never seen it before in there.)

With Message previews turned OFF, my lock screen text notifications no longer show which person in a group thread sent the text...it just shows that *someone* in a group thread has sent a text.

Very annoying.

I didn't notice it there before either but I rarely manage any of those settings. Everything on, all the time :)

That's probably by design. If you're turning off preview it's for "security" reasons and would be why it doesn't show who sent the message.

I don't ever really manage those settings either. I peek at them in new betas to see if any new items appear (beta 1&2 had the Apple TV Remote Keyboard option as new.) And was looking to see if proactive Siri suggested apps were moved to there from the handoff setting panel.

yeah, definitely seems like the lock sound is being clipped.. bummers.. but beta 1 keyboard sound is back which was nice.

Yep it's definitely bugged. If you place your ear to the speaker you can hear the "audio file" still play for a second or so after before fully stopping.

Does the Bank of America app still crash. I know it's petty, but it's the only thing keeping me from using the iOS 10 beta.

If it's by design, that's very unfortunate. I never want to see previews of the actual context of a text message, but I sure as heck want to know WHO sent it. Not sure why they suddenly changed this, but I'm hoping it's temporary.

Also, not sure why'd they'd hide the sender's name *only* in group messages. If it was a security thing, then shouldn't ALL text message sender names be hidden, rather than just those in a group thread? I think this is just a bug.

I don't hear it. It's definitely a different sound then before though. Also I notice the Haptic Feedback + the new lock sound when locking the device. Perhaps I'm not experiencing this bug.
