iOS 10 Beta 3 Bug Fixes and Changes

OK this is new. Instead of suggesting an emoticon, it now has this odd animation once you select the emoticon keyboard. Once you click on the word it changes it to the emoticon or suggests a few. I think that is better then what they had before.

Did you not watch the keynote back in June? Not new to beta 3. It's new to iOS 10 in general. And has been so since beta 1. It's also always given the pop up if a specific emoji has a few options.

"Rest Finger to Open" doesn't work if you use it after saying "Hey Siri" and then "Goodbye" (starting with a locked phone). In fact, it won't work again until you actually press Home Button to unlock.

That bug happened to me in beta 2. Open it and click on any of the store tabs, before it crashes. I haven't had a crash since. Hope that works for you.
 
Getting Handoff for iCloud Drive, looks pretty new to me:

Doesn't seem to work when for example the Documents folder is opened in iCloud Drive in Finder. Does however work when opening a folder of for example Pages, Numbers etc.

App Store seems to be showing smaller pics of app on my 5S now.
Before it was showing at 640x1136 (5s, 5c, 5 resolution).

Weird.
Is it like this only on mine?
 
Umm... I'm almost 100% positive that the "new lock sound" is none other than a glitch where iOS is not playing the entire sound file. Speaking the the haptic feedback has two taps like the two clicks in the old sound, instead of one makes me feel this way. As well as the fact that my speaker pops every now and then when I lock my phone. There is NO way Apple would change the lock sound to something that's practically the old iOS 6 unlock sound. Now that I mentioned the unlock sound, wouldn't it be cool if the unlock sound played when you unlock the phone with touchID on the lock-screen to look at something. It would be a nice touch along with the unlock animation in the status bar that was introduced in beta 2.

The "new" or "bugged" lock sound isn't necessarily cut off. If you listen closely it sounds like it's just been sped up. Making it also sound at a different pitch too.

Uhh no, its chipped, no speed difference at all. I can replicate it just by grabbing the first few milliseconds of the other sound.
 
Since I done a restore to iOS 10 beta 3 now when ever I receive a txt or WhatsApp and the phone is off like just resting it doesn't pop up with showing notification and bleep only when I raise the phone it shows, does anyone know why, my mate who done an update it works fine, its so annoying
 
Anyone else experiencing autocorrect being less aggressive? I've been typing with a significant amount of errors compared to iOS 9 and previous iOS 10 betas. I find myself having to manually correct words as simple as "face" "though" and "correct."

Speaking that I can simply make the same exact sound, just by playing a tiny chunk of the lock sound on my iPad in iFile, obviously means that its not sped up at all.

So you're saying I'm lying or stupid then? Because it's definitely not cut off or just the very beginning portion of the sound on MY device. Actually put the speaker to your ear and listen very closely when you lock it. It still plays the entire sound. It's just doing it quicker.

It's different yes, but it is not cut off. By you "playing a tiny chunk" you're only making it sound similar because you're playing something shorter that matches the quickness of the "new" sound.

Spotlight search is a bit sketchy with results. Searching contact names seldom brings up that contact. Shows web search results/Mail instead.

Also Favourites widget not taking you contact conversation, just takes you to Messages app.

Urgh this keyboard scroll glitch is irksome.
 
Can someone reply to my problem, why don't any notifications show up while phone is off, only when I raise it I see it?
